Two questions, 1) Are there any legit Directory Submission services out there? I've used four in the last year and only 1 came close to being legit. 2) Is there a service available that will submit and manage the big name directory options, i.e. business.com, yahoo.com, etc, etc where I pay 1 fee and they take care of the major ones?
did you try have a look on service section there are many people offering dir submission there. about big dir. you can hire somebody to do that as well but make sure you choose the trustable member. (check their itrader details and their behaviour in the forum) I would love to do it for you, if you would like to. we can discuss about it.
i would say the best and most legit is yourself get a good form fill script and that will help save you time and money submitting to directories
Really it is as simple as bookmarking the top 20 directories and use firefox informenter to fill in the blanks. You really should do it your self unless you have hundreds of sites. Well, it depends on each cases. There are people doing this business, where they hire people for 100$ a month and make them work like 500 submissions a day manually. But the real job of a directory submitter is to find the most relevant category and submit your site there. Find out about the background and feedback the next person gets from other people. By the way, I had been into this business and had to shut down temporarily due to lack of understanding between the guys who needed proper guidance. Its also, about making those guys get experience before they start shouting anything into directories
