Will Muslims take over America one day?

TWalker, keep in mind that people leaving religions is a double edged sword. For all the people who leave religions, there are also many switching TO that religion. That's not to say that the overall net change isn't in favor of a declining Islam, but it's certainly not at any rate where there won't be any Muslims left in our lifetime.

I also have to agree with what some other people have said, is that over time, people as a global society have become more secular, and it seems to be working well for Western culture. Sure there are bad examples like Communist Russia, but we've come a long way from the Dark Ages of 1000 years ago. If you look back at those times, they were the Dark Ages because of two bad influences: governments too closely tied with churches, and the belief in giving all power to one man. This is not to say religion is bad, I believe everyone should have the right to their beliefs and be free from religious persecution. Still though, tremendous progress has come from secularism in government, and power distributed among many people in government will assure a more peaceful global society.

As Roman said, Japan opted for peace and has become one of the leaders of the global economy, and arguably a world power. They have a very secular government, and they get very little threat from Muslim terrorist groups, because they don't meddle in Middle Eastern affairs.

 

they already have. they aren't holding the whole world to ransom, but they're certainly captured recognition worldwide

 

I ain't sure if Muslims will take over or not. Perhaps some aliens from another planet will.

All this talk of Muslims taking over the world sounds utopian to me.

Wow, where's your source on this one? All the stats and articles I've read put Islam as the fastest growing religion in the US, and a lot of the Muslim nations don't provide accurate head-counts...

 

They can't provide accurate head count. They are chopping to many off in a day.

I doubt that would happen...unless WW4 happens and the US loses....just to let you know, if the south is attacked first, I think the war will be over in a matter of minutes...to many people down here own guns and arn't afraid to use them. Most of them are pretty good shots as well...a running muslim is a much bigger target than a running squirrel.

 

Islam is the fastest growing religion in USA ..and it is spreading very fast worldwide ..The reason most of you think that muslims re terri-st is because of the Westren Media they didnt like islam as a fastest growing religion so thats why they started compaigns against muslims .On the other side muslims re not from space or some thing they re just like us and we have to stop hating them.we all are part of the same page infact we all re humans

Interesting you said that....what was Osama doing when he ordered 9/11 to happen? Last I heard, he used the word "Jihad"....now I ask you, who is starting religious wars? That would be muslims, of course.

It is not going to happen I don't believe. The people here will fight for their rights if it comes push to shove, and in the middle east where the muslims predominately are... you have no rights, or at least the women don't. The muslims would have to become much more progressive than they are currently to have any chance at a "takeover" in America.

If you meant by force, then I simply don't see that happening anytime soon either. The middle east is to busy fighting amongst themselves and have been for the last several hundred years to be able to come together and be a strong enough force to takeover a country like ours.

 

i think it might be realistic in europe if EU doesnt pick up their game, but US is quite unrealistic
