Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

yep , isn't the longest PR upadte ever .... we should try to forget on that Google PR ... how needs that after all

 

I can imagine all the PR checking websites and similar websites going bust if this is the end of PR.

 

Theres no real reliable source for this info from google. if this is true there will be a Press release from google

 

I hope PR will be changed with something else with something more accurate

 

I'm just anxious to see my PR go up.
I've been trading links quite a bit lately and now its just a waiting game...

 

I thought they had it 3 weeks ago.

I hope they kill this PR. It is so decade old concept. I hate PR though a I have a few good PR pages. I think I earn money because of visitors, not PR. Give me 1000 visitors and I will give you all my PR.

Well, there has been a few backlink updates... That's better then nothing I guess

 

No, actually. As far as I know there hasn't been. Webmaster Console has updated a few times, but that normally happens anywhere from a couple times a week to a few times a month.

The phrase "backlinks update", as used on all of the update calendars, etc. refers to updated links showing in the link: command. I don't think that's happened in a while, although it's possible that I may have missed it.

page rank update is going on

 

I had a strange PR event happening. I have LivePagerank add-on in Firefox (0.9.5) installed and went to one of my higher ranking sites (PR8). Its a new site with only homepage PR8 (old domain) and noticed Some innerpage linked from homepage got PR7, PR6 PR5. I was happy so see this.

But no innerpage tools online showed this and within 15 minutes there all back to N/A.

I had no other websites open and know it can happen that it gets stuck on last visited page. Therefore switched from homepage to innerpages and only browsed on my site.

Today all N/A innerpages again.

Cannot show you site, or might not be significant, but found it interesting to report anyway.

 

Dear Michael:

I think that what has been updated more frequently since July is the Backlink count shown in the Google Webmasters Tools. The link:mysite is rarely - if ever - of practical use.

Is there anyone here who has a site recieving over 1000 uniques a day and is ironically PR0?

 

Probably many. Any site created within the last 3-4 months is PR 0, and many of them will have good traffic, too.

 

So any news when the new site developed in last 3 months will get their pagerank assigned? I have a blog with around 500 links and predicted pagerank of 4?

 

wen will google page ranks be updated?

and how often tey are updated?

wat criteria does google look for wen giving page ranks?
