This may have been discussed here before, but post your experiences. Its always nice to go back in time and remember how much games have changed. My first gaming experience was in elementary school with the original oregon trail, but i dont really count that since we were made to play it. My most memorable first games were probaly Wolfenstein, and doom. I remember the old days on dialup downloading alot of demos from happypuppy.com. Having to start games in Dos. I also remember when i bought a packard bell i got the first Myst game which to me sucked, but good graphics for its time.
I remember playing an advanced version of space invaders on an Apple at primary school. The first multiplayer game i played was FPS Americas Army.
First game i ever played on PC was Brian Lara's cricket about 12 years back! at that time i had played a lot of DOS based games like DAVE, Jungle book and some windows based games. eventually i had started playing Commandoes and Age of Empires and last written is the one i still play in multiplayer and also MOHAA is one that i play as multiplayer
Mines was when I was 4. I was obsessed with gaming games(especially golf) and this one hard doctor game.
The first game I played in the pc is Maniac Mansion, it was the best game for me when I was 12 years old.
Mine was a game called digger anyone else remember it? On second though.. I loved commander keen! That game was addictive!
The first game I ever played on PC was Unreal Tournament 99. I got addicted to it. It was fun though.
It was "scorch" - awsome game, we used to spend lots of time with the game ("There is nothing like the smell of napalm in the morning")
Old school Oregon Trail was awesome. I remember my 3rd grade teacher would sit us in front of a computer and have us playing that several times a week. I'm still not sure why they thought it was educational.
Same here I was addicted to Dangerous Dave and Alan Border Cricket on the B&W 80486 in my father's office.
I just build my first real gaming pc, so I can really start playing some awesome PC games. But, the first PC game I played was the Sims 2
