I have written this e-book to help others understand how to earn extra

In the following sections, I will explain exact techniques that I use. I will
show you a few evidences from my experience as example so that you
understand the process clearly.

Make Money from eBay:

Usually millions of buyers access to their own country’s registered eBay
website. For example,

eBayers from UK access ebay.co.uk
eBayers from Australia access ebay.au

etc

eBayers from USA and other countries access.


This is usual practice. But it does not mean that eBayers in UK can’t
access to ebay.com or ebay.com.au. Think about yourself, what ebay
website do you usually access?

You may think - so what? How will I make money utilizing this
practice? I am here to explain you ways and help you to make some
extra cash. Sounds interesting?


Let's start by an example, when you go to and search for a phone nokia
n70 to buy, you get some thousands listings including accessories, write
down the total item numbers. Now close your browser, go to and search
again nokia n70. Have you noticed that number of items is significantly
varies on these two eBay sites? It means that there is significant
difference of supply and demand of items on different eBay websites.
When I noticed this, I immediately started making money.


Let’s see how do I manage to utilize the difference of supply and demand.
My first experience was interesting. I wanted to buy a used Palm Treo 600
PDA phone for my own use. I searched it on ebay. I noticed significant
difference of selling price. Why? Most likely reason is difference of supply
and demand. Orange UK sold thousands of Treo 600 in UK, so market of
Treo 600 in UK was much larger than in Australia. According to basic
theory in Economics, the more supply creates less demand in the
market, hence less value.

I noticed that used Palm Treo 600 were selling at £50-£60 on but
AU$210-$250 on . I think that you have already got the key point. So I
won one Treo 600 from at £52.00 (US$98.86). I paid shipping cost £9.00
(US$16.00 approximately). So, total cost was US$115.00 to get it in my
hand (Seller’s ID is shaded for seller’s privacy).



I listed my Treo 600 on and sold it at AU$212.50 (US$162.84), . About
US$48 cash profit. How long did I take? Not more than 30 minutes all
together!

If you make this type of 2 deals in a day, you can make profit cash $90+
everyday. How much in a month? $2700+. I consider that you work full-
time and you can work on this technique only on weekend. If you make 4
deals only on weekend (sat & sun) - this is what you can do for sure, you
can earn $180+ on each weekend what you can spend to make your
weekend as you always want!

More Deals:

I bought several Treo 600 until I found good price difference on ebay
sites. One of them I bought at £53.88 [=$102.64] from UK, I used it for a
couple of months and sold it at $151 on eBay USA. Later I bought Treo
650 for my own use at $249.

At the first month, I made $700+ from 18 deals (Nikon, Nokia, treo 600
and treo 650 etc.). I use this technique only on weekend as I have full-
time work. If you live in USA, Canada, Australia or Europe, you can make
more profit on each item (about $10+) because you will buy items from
your country and will pay domestic postage cost. I get limited deals, as
many sellers don’t want to ship item internationally. You have great
competitive advantage.

eBay Research Techniques: Carry out research on ebay before buying
any item. Login to your ebay account, go to “Advanced Search” and use
“Completed listings only”. You can get the price of any item that is already
sold in “Buy It now” or “Auction”. Find the price gap of the item on
different eBay sites. You must buy items those are easy to ship or post –
small and valuable. Maintain all eBay common senses, such as see seller’s
feedback rating before buying or bidding.

eBay Listing Techniques: Creating good advertisement increases
number bid and auction value of your item when you sell. You may follow
a good advertisement style from newspaper/ classified for your item
listing on eBay. Use clear, large and multiple pictures in your eBay listing.
Include main good features of the item. Most importantly, use
personalised words in the listings. Using good eBay template
increases auction value. You may use free ebay templates. Search in
google by free ebay templates or try You may use free ebay templates.

The way I use - I target a few items, and then watch them regularly. I try
to grab the items, which have poor listing and advertisement. So, I can
easily raise the value by using great advertisement. In this way, it’s
possible to profit on the same ebay website – buy & sell in the same
country ebay website!


Take care of Currency Conversion, Save 2.5% on each transaction

If you buy from eBay UK at GBP and you pay in USD from your Paypal
account, you will lose a little due to currency conversion. Because Paypal
charges conversion fee as below.

It applies same when you will receive payment from buyer. For example, if
you sell in AUD and you have only USD account in Paypal, you will lose
2.5%. I suggest you to maintain multiple currencies in your single paypal
account so that you don't lose 2.5% on each transaction.


You can manage multiple currencies in one single account by clicking on
Manage Currency. 2.5% is little, but when your buy and sell will grow, it
will affect your profit significantly! Beside, since there is a way to avoid
this lose, why shouldn't you use it?

Price of the items is less during weekend and holiday (Friday evening,
Saturday and Sunday). Why? Many of the eBayers use Internet at
workplace and access to eBay because of many reasons, for example,
employer provides high speed Internet and employees do not need to pay
for this. Some people relax free time through ebay surfing (I do so
sometimes after hard work). And you know better than me what do you
do in the weekend

This causes less number of bidders and buyers during weekend and
holidays. eBay never reveals this information to you because you wouldn't
list your items which end during weekend and holidays.

So you should list your item such way so that it doesn't end during
weekend or holiday. List your items in such times so that people don't
sleep at that time and it ends on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday – you will get the best price of your item. If you end an item on
at 4:00 a.m. London time, you will not get good price for sure. So timing
is extremely important. Schedule your item if necessary.

It’s good to buy in the weekend & holidays.



It's bad to sell in the weekend & holidays



I hope that you are already excited to start. Four things that you need to
consider seriously are

(1) adequate research on eBay to understand prospective selling price of
the item you want to buy
(2) your advertisement on eBay should have well description in good
readable format with clear pictures

(3) Calculate price difference considering shipping cost. Also consider
eBay and paypal fees although they are little but account into profit!

(4) Consider Paypal currency conversion charge and manage multiple
currencies.

It may take longer time for you in the beginning. But after doing a
couple of deals, you will be master to make each deal in a few
minutes instead of hour! - trust me.

Make Money from Craigslist:

Craigslist () is similar to eBay except it doesn’t have (1) bidding, (2) any
kind of fees, (3) online money transactions via credit card or paypal and
(4) shipping. Buyers or sellers deal in person in their areas. It started in
San Francisco, USA and has expanded all over the world now because of
popularity. Millions of individuals and businesses prefer to buy and sell
directly on Craigslist as there is no fees like eBay. Beside, they can view
the item physically.

As there is no fees and no shipping cost in Craigslist, price of items is
cheaper than eBay. Simple business rule, if you have less operating
cost for your product then you can sell it cheaper and can get
competitive advantage.

Buyer and seller deal in person, over phone, or through email. Buyer can
have a look on the item physically - there is also an option of negotiation.
Individuals and many small offices sell their old stuff (such as mobile
phone) at unbelievable cheap price as they have no longer need those.

There is enormous potential to make lots of money from Craigslist. How?
That's what I will show in the section. Firstly, I will show you all about
craigslist step by step, then I will explain a couple of my sample deals.

How to access Go to . Click your city or the nearest city to you.
Concentrate on “for sale”, and then click on “electronics”. You will find
hundreds of electronics including camera, PDA, cell phone etc.

Let’s see how to do it step by step. Let’s assume that you live in Seattle
area. From hundreds of electronics listed on 20th September 2006. Notice
the “Treo 650 Phone 4 Sale! $125” (I am a fan of Treo!).

If you click on any item that you like, you will get the detail of the item
including contact information of the seller – phone and/or email. Research
on ebay selling price before buying! You must use advanced search and
then check “Completed listings only” to research the prices of any item
already sold on eBay.

On 21 September 2006, used Treo 650 were sold $215+ (where new were
$300+) on eBay. So, if you buy this Treo 650 at $125 from craigslist and
sell it on eBay, surely you will have $100+ profit. Isn’t it simple? It’s not
difficult to make 2 deals every day if you work 2 hours = $200, so $6000
per month.




The great advantages of Craigslist are - you can deal the seller
directly, you can look at the item, no shipping hassles, price
negotiable!





My first deal was an Apple Macintosh Laptop G4 on craigslist, that I bought
at $350 from a small office and sold it in a second hand local market at
around $522. I could make more on eBay, however I was happy with the
deal as I got the instant cash. So, $172+ in 2 hours! Interesting was, I
didn't go to the seller's place to buy, I met her in a McDonald outlet
nearby my apartment!

Another example, I bought a Treo 600 phone on Craigslist from an
American who came here for vacation, got job and started working. He
brought his Sprint CDMA phone (it doesn't work outside of sprint network)
as he had plan to go back to USA after a couple of weeks. I bought it at
$60 but sold on eBay.com at $144.50, net profit was $75+. Notice the
number of bids.

I get small number of “Sale” items in craigslist, as craigslist community is
very small here unlike USA, Canada, Australia or Europe. I am sure that
you can earn better than I do if you are located in USA, Canada, Australia
or Europe.

Deal your seller in person. Never pay seller through any remote
transaction. The secure way to pay is in cash.
For big profit, try to get LOT of items, which will have cheaper
buying price.



Make Money from deals

The are unlimited money making opportunities in these three websites:

All three sites have similar contents – the greatest online deals everyday
including coupons and discounts. There are plenty of products from mobile
phone to vacation deals. You can catch right deals and make unbelievable
profit! Let me show you step by step by an example below.

There are number of very good options for you to look at. To take an
example of a deal I have seen before. In the item of Top 10 Deals, the first
one was a Samsung YP-X5X NeXus 25 XM at $29.99. Looking at the
same item on eBay using “completed listings only”. The price was ranging
from $41 to $66 on the same day.

You can make at least $20 on each YP-X5X if you are pessimistic and
consider less than average selling price on eBay. So why wait? Buy 30
pieces, sell them on eBay and make $600 in a few hours, isn’t it easy?


Make Money from Information:

This technique is by far the simplest and can also be the most profitable
depending on the information that you uncover. It is quite amazing and
you will be overwhelmed with the results.


This technique doesn’t require investment. I always look for deal on the
Internet – not for me but for selling the deal information on ebay. Selling
information is billion-dollar business in the world. Every giant corporation
like Yahoo and Google are selling information through advertising channel.
You can try selling some useful information on eBay. Yes, it works.

Let’s go straight to the point through one of my recent experience. Beside
deals website in previous section, there are also some other web sites
where you can get great deals everyday.

I was browsing www.amazon.com and found 72% discount on Kitchen
Item Cuisinart 15 piece Cutlery Set with free shipping. I searched on eBay
and found that the item had very good demand.
What next? I created listing on ebay.

I have listed 5 items at $4.99 each (3-day list). One item has been sold in
the first 4 hours of listing started (during I was updating this ebook). If all
5 are sold, $25 in 10 minutes! It’s really matter of 10 minutes to create
such listing and no investment! I will re-list if all are sold! Then $50 in 10
minutes!!

Give a try this technique. Choose the discounted items from Internet and
check demand on eBay. List them on ebay. If it is sold – great! If it’s not
sold, nothing to lose. I did this many times – it’s true that this information
selling will not give you thousands of dollars quickly, but you can earn a
few hundreds in a month with a very little effort.
