marketing a porn movie.

Hi people. I have just talked with a quite important person that owns a few strip clubs and he was talking serious about going into the porn business with his girls. I have met some of them,very good looking, and they would agree to work in the porn business and make some movies.

The only problem is that we need to figure out a way to market those movies because selling them on DVD's is not such a good ideea nowadays.

 

Ask them if I can be in the movie!! Please , If anything this post is a bump for you.

 

Just create an amateur model webpage and put the videos up there...and charge membership fees. You could even go as far as live strip club feeds as another feature. Just a thought....but porn is not a stable business lol.

 

yeah just create a webpage for each girl that you feel is hot and do same thing for regular websites but towards adult entertainment and market it with hit exchanges and topsites, etc. I am not an expert on the adult business but I know there is a lot of money in it

 

well you could just start a membership based on the patrons who visit the strip club alone and start promoting it in house first and it will spread by word of mouth.

 

Create non-adult content thats still sexy and push it on Youtube. I don't think you can get as much eyeball attention for as little effort.

Include pre and post roll branding or url mentions. Place a link on your profile or channel page too.

If you want my opinion, I'd offer all the movies for FREE! Yes, 100% free, this will create strong brand awareness... which means you'll be able to make money somewhere in the not to distant future. How many pay sites are there? thousands, if you go this route your site will just be the same. As more and more people are becoming advanced with searching for porn, less people are prepared to pay for it.

Offering the porn for free will create word of mouth advertising, the best type of marketing anyone could wish for. You'll also build a brand that will be so valubable when promoting other stuff, like new venues for the strip clubs, new features of the stip clubs, live web cam with the show girls.... you get my idea right?

What I'm trying to say is don't follow everyone else, come up with some unique, inoitive ideas... ideas that will spread naturally. Look at all the big sites on the net.... what do they all have in common? F R E E GREAT PRODUCTS!

Don't make movies yourself - get in with the big boys and act as an agent. Well, maybe make a "sample" movie I guess so they see what talent you have.

It's a pretty "hard" business to get into and although I've got no experience of being in it myself - I can imagine how competitive it really is.

You don't need to re-invent the wheel but you need to make sure your girls get maximum exposure and action whilst you still have control over them.

Going down the route of working with others - If you establish them as proper porn models by giving them a cheesy name and making their own site - they will likely start to get interest from their looks alone... otherwise go after the big boys with approaches.

 

There are basically no other routes to take other than offer it for free or charge memberships...lol. There is no way to set yourself apart from competitors...it's all been done. Even high quality well known porn sites can struggle because there are literally millions to choose from. Although you seem to speak as if you are in the business so you probably know more than me about it.

Given the unique content that you can create with your girls, you shouldn't have much trouble at all getting traffic. The trick is how to have advertising such that you get enough money to cover costs and (hopefully) make a bunch more. I think that kind of knowledge will come mostly through experiencing different programs and affiliates.

I have some experience in the adult world and it is extremely competitive. There are millions of membership sites competing for tons of traffic. It would be really difficult to compete with sites that have huge budgets, like clubjenna.com.

I would make them free for download and make money from ads on the site. You would probably get tons of traffic. Surfers love free stuff!! Also, hire a really good attorney. The risk in porn is high. Setup an LLC to protect your assets.
