Top of google

    Ive worked very hard at geting 1 keyword listed on google.
    The keyword i aimed for was (freelance programming website).
    Now i find ime in the top 10 on google and allso with other keywords.
    Now i have around 10 keywords that are on the top 10 results,and others coming in at 20-50 place.

    The thing is ime not getting many hits,peeps are not searching google with the keywords i aimed for.i get at most 20-30 hits per day.

    What should i do now to get the most from my keywords?
    Should i re-think my strategie and go with new beter keywords or hang in there and pray peeps search more using my keywords.

    I think you should focus on more used keywords, try with overture keyword suggestion toll to find out. Of course, the more the keyword is searched the more it will be hard to get high rankings!

    Research keywords. You might need to change a few terms to get the traffic you want.

    Not all KW/Phrase targets are created equal.... you need to rethink how you are researching your target terms....

    you should target one phrase. you could try to have only 1 keyword in meta tags "freelance programming website" and buy some backlink with this anchor.
    you should also, of course, do some SEO on-site ;)

    Ive allready done backlinks with anchor(freelance programming website) and ime on 4th pos.
    Allso with the keyword freelance programming on page 3.
    I have other keywords that are in top 10.
    But ime just not geting the clicks.

    free freelancer programming(2nd)
    freelance programming website(4th)
    programming comunity(5th)
    freelancer programming(6th)
    freelance programmers coders writers(7th)
    free freelancer script(8th)
    freelance outsourcing site(10th)
    freelance templates(13th)
    freelance programming(14)
    ebay clone (14th)
    custom freelance programming(18th)
    freelance programmer(35th)
    freelance programmers(39th)

    Thats just half of what i have found at top.and you would think with all these keywords at the top i would be getting loads of traffic

    Use wordtracker. It has helped me alot. I did the same thing as you, trying to rank for the words that I thought we're good, until I used wordtracker and relized that I need to change keyword phrases.
