Hmm...this news is a bit too much to take at the moment. All I can say at the moment is that I am dumbstruck. Unless if there is a reason behind this sudden move.

 

I wonder who will buy a Bid Directory for that price, not that google does not like directories anymore.

 

Seems official, I was talking to him the other week about this and I didn't think he would sell his pride and joy which he put so much into, maybe he needs cash?

If you ask me for the honest answer then YES.

I launched my directories network after the last update. To made my directories strong I have almost invested 4k-5k from my pocket. Can you believe, I am not getting submissions from any directory owner here on DP. Only chris, asim and fastian did.......If you don't have PR then buddy there's no way of getting any submissions. No matter if you have good back links, unique and real content, good category structure or even ranked on 2nd page for big keywords like Web Directory, Paid Directory, Bid Directory, Bidding Directory(my directories). Simply all is just B.S.......only PR matters.

I know those directories got PR in early days also getting submissions but what i have assumed that PR is only the play game for directories. Without PR directories are nothing. It's not just me but many new directory owners are in LOSS.

 

Ladies and gentlemen you need to ease back before making too many drastic decisions and getting so worried, all businesses go through ups and downs.

Even switch off your computer for an hour and just think about what you have to do, do it somewhere without distraction.

So much panick at the moment, dont suddenly think directories are over, their absolutely not.

Dont make a decision on what you dont know, if you do claim to have inside information then i would take that even less serious do not make a decision on rumour, and definately not because things are currently not going your way.

Ride it out.

My biggest fear at the moment is some of you guys doing silly things and selling off great sites because of a rumour.

 

So what if Zorg-Links being sold? Whats the so big fuss about it? How can people make assumptions that he is afraid whats happening in this industry.

He wants to sell it, its his wish. Whats so scaring about this? He may have his own personal reasons.

Hi sachin410, im referring more to directories in general at the moment, not just Mikeys, im aware that its someone personal business as to what they buy or sell.

I definately keep my nose out of that, no what im meaning is im hoping that a Domino affect doesn't kick in.

I hope its not offensive if i state that i only believe so much of what i hear and read, ive never seen any official document that has explained anything regarding directories, the power of suggestion is good, dont you think?

Words are powerful, they can be misread and on the WWW they literally spread at light speed.
