    Why do you wan't to reload are you trying to cheat your pageview count?

    I guess it's possible, you can download a tool that can repeat your mouse actions(not sure of the name) and keep repeating them i.e download program. Hit record, hover mouse over refresh button, click once..stop reocrding... then in the program set duration/interval to run the script and it will click refresh automatically for you say every 5 secs...

    Do a search for mouse recording software, or something like that.

    I will tell you why I do it, but dont read further if you defend free speech at any cost.

    I found a local racist site that pay hosting per used Gb, need I say more?

    you wouldn't do much by reloading the pages, if it has a forum try uploading very big files then downloading them.

    Yes, I know its not to effective, but 1Gb per hour is at least $750 a month for them to pay:D
    Unfortunately they have any user generated content.

    Technically you would be breaking the law would you not?
    They will also more then likely block your IP, it makes you playing on their level, plus your ISP might not like the fact either.

    If you trully want to 'go after them' then a dos attack or something else would be a much better route then simply reloading a page.

    reloading a page is some what like a small dos attack, it would be better if you borrow another internet connection to do this.

    Technically a DOS attack still requires bandwidth usage, which your ISP might notice.
    Uness your bouncing of port 255 on an open subnet (SMURF attacks)
    You could always do a multiple reload from somewhere like a net cafe or university that has a huge bandwidth capability.
    Funny I was just talking to someone about this exact technique on my forums cloaked section.

    Technically, why it would be illegal/frowned upon but I highly doubt there is anyway to do even remotely close to a real DOS attack by simply reloading the site, even if cache is cleared every time.

    Most DOS attacks are by multiple connections using compression and other methods to bring down a server, not just simply reloading a site via one connection.

    A dos attack would be effective, but I am not into that business, I dont like it and I also dont want to take down the server, that would be very bad for all the other sites on the server. I just want to spend as much bandwith as possible so that the racist site have to pay a lot for hosting since they pay per GB downloaded. The problem is that I can only download something like 1GB per hour, thats only $1 per hour in expenses for the racists. What other sites could I use to reload the pages of the racist site again and again? Is there any sites that will load the content without sending it to my browser? I would prefer to use bigger sites for that, not small that can suffer from bandwith/resource usage.

    Well hypothetically speaking of course if I wanted to have bandwidth sucked up on a site, I'd use Iframes on some heavily hit sites of my own, loading the other site when everyone of my visitors hit my sites. This way the only way to block would be by referrer and not straight IP address.

    W/O getting more into it though of course as it's hypothetical ;)

    Just hypothetically speaking of course I will do like this:

    <iframe
    src ="http://www.*****.org"
    width="1" height="5">
    </iframe>

    :)

    That would make the whole page load on each visitor?

    yeah, could make a fake site on something like angelfire if you dont want to be traced and digg it a lot!
    submit it to every place you can think of.

    or can always use it on your personal site and digg it.

    Yeah but that would require a whole load of traffic.
    It would take a page loading 500KB from a site every 30 seconds 2.7 days to use up 4GB worth of data.

    But im giving away to many trade secrets, if you want to know more, you will have to ask nicely.
