Hey, I don't remember where but I saw a post somewhere on a blog, someone being able to give his site in 30 minutes work, enough backlinks to get a pagerank 4 on the next update. It had to do with searching on google sites where you can submit links for free. No links that bring you traffic or anything. Does anyone know how this works? It's hard to do link exchange for a site worthless is PR, so this would be really great. Any tips are welcome! Thanks!
i think you must start link building. free directory can be a good start for you. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=441032 is a great list of free directories. you can check it
If big directories got dumped by Google, they surely put a damp on PR juice on all the small ones. I would submit only to Yahoo, BOTW, Joeant, Chiff and maybe a couple more. Find an authority site in your niche and get a link. That's better than 50 directory links.

It depends upon the pages from which you are getting a backlink from. Well, Google PR is transfered from one page to another each update. So, there are many reason and factors on why people get what PR. There are directories like aviva, Gii.in, etc. which gets 1000s and 10000s of backlinks each month for there site. It hat to do with backlink and referral spamming. I just can't find an easy way to find referral spamming sites...
