Well, I just looked in my account and I had $0.42 but 600 imprisons and 14 clicks, the other day i was making about $1.10 a click and not its less than half that Anyone know what the problem is and how i can improve it? thanks
Sounds like smart pricing. get googles tool to see what sites advertise on yours. It shows url of site. Go to site do not click own links . If site has clickbank or adsense ads on it filter site. if site is search engine or not related to your sites topic filter it. i see alot of search sites with topics that have nothing to do with the ads they run. I have seen clicks as low as 1/3 a cent per click. If earnings go down go check every ad to make sure someone is not smart pricing your site. It is a never ending battle so you have to keep doing it.
Can you give me a bit more details on the tools you mention? Are they part of the Google Web master tools? Thanks
Earnings will fluctuate a lot naturally, especially when you're looking at a small number of clicks. Sometimes you'll get the ads where an advertiser has been $2.00 for a click but a lot of times you'll get the 5 cent ads too. When you start getting hundreds of clicks a day, things tend to average out to more consistent numbers. I would just recommend putting up more good content. Also you've got a pretty low CTR if you're getting 14 clicks per 600 impressions. There are lots of tips around the forum for increasing your click-through-ratio, so get reading.
Maybe you are smart priced.Ofcourse, sometimes it depends on CTR, ECPM too as that's an important factor in adsense earnings. I wish you luck! -B
You can't do anything with that - earnings vary every day very much. But good news is that you can expect another good day soon, maybe better than you expect
Thanks, ill have a read about the smart pricing thing. And Hammerfall, I just relised that the 600 impressions were from one of my old sites too.
Low in both quality and quantity of contents. got lots of adsense ads on page. not so many pages. not so many images. not so many active visitors. no so bright future sites.
