I was wondering which way would be better to submit your site to search engines? 1. Submit it with partial contents and then build it up. or 2. Fully build your contents and then submit it to search engine Thank you all.
The best way for google is to build site up and get links to it. Do not submit site let google find it from links. Work on site and links each day and google will find it. Yahoo and Msn just submit site when you have a good amount of content.
As an SEO you have to Think and find some experimental Techniques to drive in their algorithm... For me, you must give more focus on your content, just keep on updating it and then get Inbound links...
why are you submitting your site to se? just find some backlinks for your site and continue to work on your site. and when you finish building up your web site , find more and more backlinks
Like a few of the others said, there is no need to submit your website to any search engine. Only places you should be submitting to are directories which will give you more backlinks in the coming months. Unless your website is a blog then you can submit them to some free RSS feeds and blog directories as well. I have a free list on my blog which would be a great start for you. Focus on getting your content complete on your website before you start your search engine marketing. Really hard to have a good marketing campaign when only half of your website is done.

The best way is to build your site to the point that it is worth visiting and makes the visitor want to return and than submit it to the search engines and work on getting back links. Depends on the site. If the site is a static site then i usually start getting the site indexed after i have completed the structure (URLs) and the individual meta-tags for each page. The allows the search engine to index all my pages quickly, as i add the new content to each page, this will appear as a change each time the crawlers visit. If the site is a Dynamic site, i would recommend that indexing is started very close to completion and certainly After any URL re-writes have been performed ie re-writing session IDs. If your going to submit your site, do it via a google sitemap.xml file, uploaded through the google webmaster tools. Alternatively submit via a link from a related site or directory maybe.
You don't need to submit your site to search engine wait for them to indexed your site. Forum links is the best way to get indexed quickly and create also a site map for your site.
I would suggest build site first then get link from good forum, directory, and other sites. your site will automatically indexed. Remember basic rule to rank higher using links is to get good quality relevant links.
All site are in design flux and Google knows this. With this said, start submitting the site ASAP. My recommendatins are that you create a Google Webmaster Account and use this to submit the site. I would also create a Google Sitemap weekly and submit this thru the Webmaster Account. You can also take the Sitemap and submit it to MSN and Yahoo. This is fast, easy and works.
These days you dont need to submit to google anymore. It's more effective to get a backlink fom good PR site and let google crawl and indexed it. So you have more time to add content to your site without worrying that the site will be indexed or not.
