It can vary a lot from year to year. All depends on how dry the summer was, and how cool the fall is... I don't know.
:-eek: just doesn't look right. most hosts don't want to spend their bandwidth on people who aren't at their site, so they don't like it when they have to use their bandwidth to show images on other sites. Imageshack changes the image after it's reached a certain number of bandwidth. Wikicylon here. Images are stored on ImageShack indefinitely unless the image or the user who uploaded it abuses the Terms of Service. The image will be rendered inaccessible if the image uses over 100 megabytes of bandwidth in a one-hour period. If you want to bypass any problems, just attach it. it's a fact of life, deal with it. not liking small things is why we won't make it in the long run. I click them if it isn't apparent what I should be looking at. didn't tim take an eyeball picture? did you take any pictures of badgers?
meh, be that as it may, easier than deleting them IMO same here. that's a lot harder than it sounds trust me! no Badgers, WOLVERINES!!! Red Dawn
Badger is the common name for any animal of three subfamilies, which belong to the family Mustelidae: the same mammal family as the ferrets, the weasels, the otters, and several other types of carnivore. There are eight species of badger. A Badger is a terrorist in the slang talk of the Canadian Military, as a Tango is for the US Military. Badger is the NATO codename for the USSR TU-16 jet bomber.
Thank you, wikicylon. I understand what a badger is. I was just confused as to why you might have thought I took pictures of badgers...
Heck yeah, pushing delete up to 10 times ( :confused : ) or pushing - once? I don't think I trust you. How hard can it be to point a camera backwards, look into it, and push the button? I'd be interested in pictures of them too. Good job tim! it was your first multi-quote, respond to each thing you have a thought about post!
That's a cool shot. I want to do something like that with birch trees this winter... Have anything like that?? White trees, no leaves, blue sky...
No. There were no badgers. Just flying rats (seagulls). I think I managed to keep them out of the pics... Starting the UL now.
Bats are mammals. Though sometimes called "flying rodents", "flying mice," or even mistaken for insects and birds, bats are not, in fact, rodents.
Dude, you have no idea! Using my 2 lens macro setup, the POF (point of focus), that being the distance that the image is in and out of focus is 1-3 mm's MAYBE. So, try keeping your eye still long enough and trying to get it in the same position every time...I took 77 shots or so to get like 7 that were in focus. Now, if I was using a simple P&S (point & shoot) camera then yeah, not as difficult I know! It took me an extra 3.37 minutes but the satisfaction I felt was something else no birch maple I'll try to find some the next time I am up there...would be great B&W candidates
I've seen birch pics in B&W and I have to say I prefer them in color, as long as you have the bright blue sky to go with it. Problem in this area is getting a winter day with a blue sky!
oh. well that's what you get for getting fancy. sometimes all you need to have fun is a baseball bat and a pumpkin. k.i.s.s. .37 of a minute is 22 seconds. but terrible BBW candidates
maybe the B&W birch pics you saw blew I did it like this, I did it like that, I did it with a wiffle ball bat
you did it with a wiffle ball bat? gross. can tim tweak this to make them koala bears? phew. the storm has passed. I may have been screwing around in your auction, but I was trying to add posts to keep it on top of the new posts.
not really, it's an unrelated Beastie Boys lyric quickie koala...remember that cartoon or you're too young! whipper snapper (head)
