Just curious i have a paypal account but i believe its the crappest account you can get, does this allow me to receive money? say i used something like chipin.com would i be able to get the money?
Hi - I don't know regarding this ..whether it will allow to receive money or not.... But I would like to let you know that you should have started this thread in Payment Processing Section...you may get infraction for starting this thread in GC section.... Umesh281
Of course you can receive money into your paypal account.. if you can't maybe you went over your limitations? (get your account verified?)
Yes for sure, you can recieve and send money. Your receiving limit is unlimited while your sending limit for unverified user is $100.Just get your account verified with credit card and you limit will be lifted. Cheers
Although it's not the best at what it does, it is the best payment processing solution for sellers because it is so popular. If you choose to use another payment processor you might lose out on sales because people do not want to register with another payment processor.
If your account has no limitations you should be able to send and receive money from everywhere. if your account has been limited because the account hasnt been fully verified, then you are unable to send and receive money. i have a couple of accounts with hundreds of £££ in them which i cant access because i dont have a bank account and my accounts are limited.
if you cant it maybe some problem with the creditcard information you put when you registed for paypal account. try to add or change creditcard info may help.
There could be one more reason for not being able to accept money and that is you are from a "Send Only" Country. Send Only countries can only send money even if they are verified.
I have an Unverified Personal account (because I don't have a credit card or bank account) so I cannot send money - but I can receive money just fine.
I love my Paypal account for using on ebay. They usually have good protection for buyers. My friend got scammed with a fake mobile phone, she complained to Paypal, and got all her money back. A bit of "paperwork" & pics to submit, but you would expect that anyway. And yes, it's great for receiving money. Like some affiliate networks pay by Paypal.
