I'm having surgery first thing in the morning...

It's nothing serious - but will be the first time I've had a general anaesthetic. Not looking forward to it at all...
Hopefully will be back home and back on DP by tomorrow night :p

    Wish me luck

I'm having breakfast first thing in the morning... but anyway, I hope your surgery goes well. I haven't been under the knife since I was 6 years old. All I remember is I got to choose the scent of the anaesthesia, and I picked grape. It was awesome. They probably don't have scented anaesthetics for adults, but if they do I recommend grape.

Good luck! Rent "Busty Nurses 9" so you have something to dream about while you're "under" :)

Nothing to be nervous about...really! I had an operation in January this year and didnt really know what to expect. When the operation came, i was lieing down and they told me to put this oxygen mask on.... it wasn't oxygen:confused:

Then woke up about 6hrs later, and felt a little groggy. What sort of operation is it?

No worries. Personally, I enjoy being put to sleep for some reason. I've been under twice, and both times I tried to stay awake. It didn't work. ;)

I have never had surgery put to sleep or anything for that matter. Would scare the heck out of me if I ever have to, so all I can say is, I hope it goes all good for you.

    Routine hernia surgery...

I didn't get any scented anaesthetics - just something that made my skin feel prickly, then I was out like a light :)

I'm home now, and in pretty bad pain, but at least I made it back in one piece - and can kinda sit up at the computer and get back to work.

Great to know that everything went well. But I think you should take some rest rather that working.
