Hi, On saturday, 2 days time, it will be exactly 2 years since my dad passed away. I am going to be sober on saturday, and i am going camping at my friends birthday, there is a girl there, which i met last week, she likes me, and i like her, and i am going to ask her out on that day. My dad was the best member of my family. He was born 3rd December 1937, and his mum had 8 children, 4 daughters, 4 sons. He did national service in tripoli in Lebanon, and then in North Africa. He then joined the NHS in the 60's, ambulance driver, but he told he, he quit that job because he was on a callout where an elderly person fell head first into a fire. He became a taxi and coach driver in the 1970s and 1980's, but it didn't work out. My dad married twice, his first marriage had 3 sons, Matt, Jeremy and Julian. His second marriage had 1 son and 1 daughter, me and my sister. He was skilled in welding, and he made a mobile fish and chip business, which he was doing until the day. He was a lover of animals, including the one-legged hopping chicken which he told me about, my dads mum killed it because they were hard up. My dad used to steal vegitables from local farmers fields to keep the family alive, the farmer caught him one day, but they didn't do anything about it, because they knew of the poverty. The whole family lived in a small end of terrace in Penzance. My dad is truely irreplaceable, i will always miss him, and he will always be remembered. He was always a hard worker, and he always thought of others before himself. He always cheered me up. Rob RIP, Philip Stephen Allen. 3rd December 1937 - 22nd September 2005.

One of my best mates said to me yesterday "real men cry". I told some of my other mates, and they laughed. It proves who is a true friend. I am meeting my mentor at 4pm today at the cemetary. Rob
