Say what??? I don't quite get what you're saying? Are you saying you know better than Jesus? Are you smarter than Jesus? If not, I am just going to keep believing in Him. He said "NO ONE (that means no one) comes to the Father except through me." Let me give you the full verse: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Does that make Jesus a bigot??? No matter, I still believe in Him more than I believe in anyone else. He seems to know more than anyone so therefore I will continue to believe in Him and Him only. After all, he made it very clear: "NO ONE." So for someone to disprove this he would have to be superior to Jesus. Haven't found anyone superior to Him yet. So until you give me someone superior to believe in, I will continue to trust ONLY in Him.

Hell to your heaven , the formula specified in it must have allowed hitler and all his nazi armies to reach in heaven enjoying eternal bliss as they had much more trust in the book that you quote from than that of you,
Why the hell god creates soul to send them to hell for eternity.
What happens to the soul of animals ?
If you know you are not going to make it to heaven will you still have the same faith and trust?
Read the whole book ten times, there are only 144000 who will make it to heaven, I guess there are more than 144000 corrupt preachers , so you might be in the waiting list at 3 billionth position

proteindude states a part of the new testament where apparently jesus is quoted as saying that the only way to god and heaven is through him.
the problem is that all major organised religions state their own version of this, with their particular prophet mouthing the same thing.
you cannot argue with the indoctrinated as to the veracity of their own version.
and therein lies the real problem with this world, the reason why there are so many bloody conflicts, because nobody is prepared to question their own beliefs, or recognise the rights of any other religious group.
i am sure though that if there is a god he/she will have plenty of questions to ask those who caused wars and bloodshed in his/her name. and if there is a hell those who go there are probably those religious zealots who believed that their place in heaven was assured. would love to be a fly on the wall for that one.

That is so not right. The Bible says "the devil believes" and yet he's not in heaven.

Q:Why the hell god creates soul to send them to hell for eternity.

A: Hell was created for the devil and his angels. Now please pay attention: if it depends on God for you to be saved you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Come Judgement Day God can't send you to hell because he hasn't done His job to save you, and that would be unfair.

However, if it DOES depend on you to be saved then you are in a lot of trouble and have no one else to blame for your choice but yourself.

Q:What happens to the soul of animals ?

    A: I don't know and I don't really care.

Q:If you know you are not going to make it to heaven will you still have the same faith and trust?

A: Nowhere in the Bible does it say this. This is a Jehovah's Witnesses (a cult not a group of Christians) invention. Let me illustrate this very clearly:

Heaven is manifested as a huge skyscraper, and the Archangel Gabriel is the elevator-operator. As each new entrant arrives, the Archangel asks for their religious affiliation, and each is taken to the appropriate floor:

    Gabriel asks, "Religious affiliation?"
    "Methodist."
Peter looks down his list, and says, "I'll let you off at floor 24, but everyone please be very quiet as we pass floor 13."
Another arrives at the elevator. "Religious affiliation?"
    "Southern Baptist."
"We'll go to floor 66, but everyone please be very quiet as we pass floor 13."
    A third arrives. "Religious affiliation?"
    "Reformed Jew."
"Get off at floor 10, but everyone please be very quiet as we pass floor 13."
One of the passengers finally asks, "I can understand there being different floors for different religions, but why must we be quiet as we pass the 13th floor?"
"Well, the Jehovah's Witnesses are on that floor, and the loving All-Being has mandated this rule out of sheer kindness" explains the Archangel. "You see, only a small group of them imagined that they would be here in the first place - and they think they're the only ones here."

Sorry dude, but I in no way consider your intellect to be superior to that of Jesus. I don't mean to offend you with this but Jesus is and will be more influent than you, and this is not a problem but YOUR PROBLEM as an unrepentant sinner who deludes himself that he knows better than Jesus.

who said that i was smarter than jesus?
i am merely putting forward a valid argument, and if jesus was a smart guy he would have relished a lively debate with all points put forward.
you just keep closing your mind to all arguments and opinions and calling everybody else wrong.
socrates, a fairly smart dude by all accounts, and no before you jump down my throat, i am not saying smarter than jesus, actually frequently said 'i know nothing.' to put that in context what he really meant was that he did not trust 'absolutes' and was constantly searching and exploring, trying out new ideas and even throwing out what he had previously held to be the truth when he discovered facts that denounced this.
an intelligent debate must take into consideration all sides, and you just keep presenting the same one - that is the 'i am right because i am a christian, and you are all wrong because you're not' side. ' which is a bit limiting and hardly intelligent. so speaking of smart...?

Ok, I take this back. It was a joke about the JWs (Jehovah's Witnesses). I am not southern baptist by any means. I don't even live in US. I am not saying southern baptists are better than others. That was just a joke.

I do believe however there will be southern baptists, penticostals, catholics etc in hell. They would be there because they put their religious affiliation above their loyalty to Jesus. So I am NOT religious (just a Christian)

Yes, yes, yes and YES to the highlighted part. We cannot all be right. So if Jesus is the smartest, wisest man that ever lived, why should I waste my time with less smart, less wise theories?

I do have a narrow mind. You are right about that. I have to be careful what I let into it otherwise it gets rotten. Besides, it was Jesus who said that narrow is the gate that leads to salvation.

Jesus said he is the truth. I believe that. You don't believe in absolutes. I do. Jump off a building to disprove the Law of gravity. You will absolutely find it works. Which again proves you can't break God's Law, but God's Law can break you.

Proteindude, I would maintain that all this debate is worthless if we all accept that Jesus was the Son of God and the smartest man that ever lived. The problem is you are pre-supposing that belief, to back up your arguments, but not everyone is accepting that as truth. This is the problem with most Christian apologetics, you need to understand that unless we all are accepting a certain argument A as true, you can't use it to back up your argument B.

So if you want to be narrow-minded and automatically assume all Christian teachings as being true to argue your points, that's fine. But it is no longer debate and apologetics, it's preaching. Many, many smarter Christian scholars than yourself have realized this and temporarily "put down the shields" as it were to engage in a lively apologetics debate.

I agree with you to some extent. So that I understand better, who do you think is wiser than Jesus? Which human being gave us more useful and better teachings than Jesus. Simply put, if not Jesus, then who is the GREATEST? Isn't this debate? If not Jesus who and why? Looking forward to the reply.

Let me stop you right there on the "He said" part.

Guess what..... everything you think you know about Jesus was not even written by Jesus. It was written by men and riddled with opinion, mistakes, their own ideology, and downright falsehoods.

    Congratulations, you are now awake.

the new testament and the whole birth of christianity in rome is mainly down to paul, who wasn't even alive at the same time as jesus!
the scriptures are based on heresay and the inner machinations of paul's zealous mind.
it is my opinon that jesus did indeed exist but that if he was anything he was a jewish radical trying to form a new school of thinking within judaism, for historically that would match with the many groups of such radical jews in nazareth and the surrounding area at the time. he may also have been someone we would term a 'freedom fighter' today, opposed to the roman occupation of his land, which would better explain his crucifixion, for all jewish radicals fighting against the romans were executed in this manner.
to me that makes so much more sense historically and realistically than paul's version.
i know that this won't hold any water with the truly indoctrinated but surely it rings true to everyone else?

Guess what....I AGREE with you. Everything I know about Jesus is not from what he has written. As far as I know he hasn't written anything down but it was his followers that did that. As for it being riddled with falsehoods you have to explain as I don't know what you mean. And another interesting thing: nothing from the time of Jesus contradicts what is believed that he said or done. No book from around his time disputes the fact he healed people or that he stopped the storm or that he delivered people from evil spirits.

I never read any of the works of Hitler to use that as an example, but I still know about him and what he was all about since other historians wrote about him.

Well, the first 4 books (the foundation) of the New Testament were NOT written by Paul, so this is your first wrong assumption. You're right when you say: "to me that makes so much more sense...." Again, that is your opinion. Hey everybody, forget everything you know about the Bible. Here's a dude named judetheobscure who knows more. Who is this guy you say?? Judetheobscure is his name. He is offering his own opinions and based on that alone we should follow him. Why follow him over someone else you ask? I am asking myself the same question.

stOx, this must be one of those "rare" times I guess.
Actually this reminds me of a saying: "As long as there will be exams, public prayer will continue in public schools."
