When Will Paypal Dispute Resolve ?

I bought a service by paying with PayPal and the seller scammed me. So I have to file a dispute for refund.

Now,

1. Can I directly make a "claim" without going into a dispute. I don't know what it is - but can I just directly go to "claim" on the first day ?

2. I also want to "close" all communication with the seller. can I do it on the first day ?

3. After I have filed a "claim" and "closed" all communication with the seller, how long will PayPal take to refund me ?

 

Yes u can do so on your very first day. although paypal doesn't guarantees a refund. a claim closes usually after 10 days.

 

Usually after 10 days ? What's the time range like 10 days to x days, within which the refund will be issued or the claim will close ?

 

As zoomone said: there is no guarantee you will get a refund even if the seller doesn´t answer to paypal and you win the dispute (in case he has no balnce in account for example). but if he has and you win it will be fast after the dispute has been closed

 

for me, it took 12 days i think.

 

Someone in DP told me that I can get a refund even if the seller does not have a balance in his PayPal, as that is because of the PayPal's buyers' protection policy. Is that correct ?
