It sounds to me like it was just a dispute and not a chargeback. They are totally different things. A dispute is through Paypal and a chargeback is initiated through his credit card company.

In any event, refund, delete, and forget it is my advice...

Basically a inquiry is done when the buyer has some issues with the credit card company.

Probably means the company didn't pay up the credit card bill and hence paypal hasn't got its payments and hence its gonna take back the money paid to us after its inquiry.

I would suggest to keep cool and stay relaxed as money from Green Culture is gonna be taken back after inquiry, nothing is gonna happen by creating a panic.

Timely issue. I've got the exact problem, too. I haven't done anything yet so far. I think I will wait to see how things go. I'm ok with refunding money and removing link.

I have spoken to Green Culture marketing manager. I have been informed that they are looking into the issue and speaking with paypal regarding the same.

They have been our regular clients and from my experience all I can say is, hopefully the issue must be resolved.

This has happened to me as well. And then the next day I received another featured listing on one of my other directories. I have in turn refunded their money for the second one and removed their link. Also in my refund I told them why I was refunding.

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Kevin and I am the Marketing Manager for GREENCulture.com. I registered for this form to personally apologize to those that are experiencing Paypal dispute issue with GREENCulture.

I perosnally replied to all of the emails from Paypal Sellers today. Sorry for the delay since I was away on vacation. Several days ago, Paypal placed our account on hold due to their security measures. According to the Paypal rep, a third party was trying to access our Paypal account from a different country and that triggered their secuirty measure. Once these security measure were enforced, Paypal retracted and auto filed dispute for everything we purchased for the last two weeks.

I spoke to the Paypal rep yesterday and hopefully everythign will work out soon. I will try my very best for Paypal to release these payments to everyone. Once again, I am very sorry for all the trouble that we may have caused you. If you have any questions please PM me. Thank you for your time.

Hey Kevin. Thanks for looking into this, as I am receiving the same dispute from your company. I think it has something to do with funds not clearing.

    Hi Everyone,

Paypal currently is review all transactions we made from 9-10 to 9-16. The funds are still being claimed by Paypal for the security measures. I have been trying to get those funds released but for some reason Paypal has to go through this whole procedure before they can release it.

According the Paypal, all transactions after 9-16 should go through without any more problems. If you are experiencing Paypal claims on your account for links purchased after 9-16, please let me know.

Once again, I apologize for the trouble that we may have caused. thank you.

    Kevin
