I think Google's gonna get some competition from MSN Search

I just did a quick comparision of Google Search with msn

    Search Google for pied piper

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=pied+piper&btnG=Google+Search

Now try that search on MSN

    http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=pied+piper&go=&form=QBRE

    I was Impressed.

    MSN's got something going here.

It's actually faster then Google and gives pretty decent results.

I think the problem which Google is facing is they want to show that PageRank to the people, which just about everybody now knows how to manipulate.

Msn Search will never be as good as Google. They don't even come close.

Yeah, that WAS fast! I also like the "related searches" column. That is also nice to see. You're right, I think they do have something here!

The bigger you are, the harder you fall.

msn relies to much on meta tags. Google has a much more advanced algorithm.

MSN is no where near Google. They need to improve their algo first to get relevant and better results. For one of my keyword the page from some website is ranking ahead which is showing 404 and its there since last 2 months. I mean they r too slow to crawl.

MSN Have the ability to outrank google but they have to work lot on their search results, brand establishment and loyal surfers. Not seeming this happening.

MSN is the worst search engine I ever seen. Also, MSN bots are the laziest bots ever.
I have 204.000 pages indexed in Google, 64000 indexed in Yahoo and 1(ONE) in MSN.
    How could this be possible?

My sites are ranked #1 for my main keyword in both Google and MSN. I get 80% traffic from Google and only 10% from MSN. (local language).
MSN has a looong way to go.

Most people do not even notice pagerank in the Google Toolbar.....and Pagerank has little if nothing to do with rankings
