I cant believe this has happened A friend of mine who was previously banned from adsense was managing a business website(of course in his capacity as an employee of the company he was working for and to google it was his personal domain, that is how he got it registered), now after earning a handsome amount, he got again banned, the email said those famous one line "the account was found to be related to a previously banned publisher" Now his employer had enough, he resubmitted the website in his business name (different address and used his business name but of course the same website) after few months of waiting. GUESS WHAT, the weirdest of all, they got approved "Congratulations! Your Google AdSense application has been approved. You can now activate your account and get started with AdSense in minutes." Now what the hell is this, i cant understand, on one hand they ban you on the other they approve you I have a feeling that this is going to get banned again with the same one line sentence later on once it reaches the 100$, any difference of opinion STILL CANT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING
They used the same domain and still got approved? That's really weird but they are not safe. Google could decide to ban them in any time.
well one thing is sure, initially the domain got approved in a weeks time and the second time it took nearly 18 days, does it mean that google deliberated this aspect, or is the approval done by again the famed google BOTS
Nothing weird about it. If you were banned by adsense and then work for a company you can reregister in the business name. Google allows you to do this.
Google treats different legal entities as different (which legally they are). HOWEVER if they use the same bank account etc, then the account will get banned again.
Who, me no that's not my site, a friend of mine, i know the whole story right from the beginning, and its kinda weird However guys out here say it is possible to reregister in the name of the business entity, but the website remains same, how is it possible, so that means google considers two aspects the publisher and website can be banned together or only one of them gets banned, that's news
I dont think so, because then the ban has to be for other reasons, like invalid clicks or something like that and not because it was related to an old publisher, because if that was the case then google can land up in legal troubles, since the individual while applying has clearly given the website address which was earlier banned, so they cannot have that reason so that guy is better off, google is now one reason short as an excuse to ban him, LOL
It seems Google want to earn for themselves off the clicks from the site for a time, but use that as an excuse when they have to pay out...
If Google find out that a guy who has been banned is running the site they WILL legally be able to close the account. I am not sure why you think your friends company will be able to take on the might of Google in a legal battle though.
There's nothing weird about this. It happens all the time; someone gets banned and registers a new account and gets accepted. Chances are he will get banned sooner or later, though.
