Morkel's hit was about 106 m. Not too sure whether anyone can surpass that. The Windies are out of the tournament, which rules out Chris Gayle as a challenger.

Misbah-ul-Haq's hit was 111 m which broke the record of Morkel. Anyways, I thought that Yuvraj would break that record with 6 sixes but looks like Misbah is still leading with 111m.

Yup Sufi, Misbah is leading now. I hadn't watched the Pakistan- Australia game at the time of writing my previous post :)

    Somebody needs to cross Nelson.

You are wrong buddy, I just saw on the TV screen (The India vs SA match is going now) and Misbah is still leading with 111m. Lets see who can beat it in semi-finals and the final.

It's official now. UV (Yuvraj Singh) has just made the record of biggest six in the tournament and it measures 119m

Huge six and it was against Andrew Symond's bowling (Aus) in the semi-final going on right now... What a brilliant cricketer he is!

It's in Brett Lee's bowling buddy, not Symonds. At the presentation ceremony he even said that the pace did the magic. Just a simple flick with the bat :D
