You are a seller and the buyers pays for your product. After paying, you sent the product to him and you got proof that he received the product. What if he denies and file a chargeback? What can you do to protect yourself from these kind of people?

Nothing, unless you have a tracking number and posted to a confirmed address. If your transaction receipt says eligible then paypal will cover you otherwise its gone. Unfortunately, in my case experience talks :(

Paypal is risky. Maybe you should try one of the hundreds of others paypal processors out there. Moneybookers, egold, 2checkout etc.

Exactly! Unfortunately I experienced the same and lost 6000$ this way, although I had tracking info and signed reciept. But PP refunded him and I never got anything back. I wouldn´t do too big PP sales, look for alternatives. Where you from?

Im in from the UK. I got £1350 back from paypal for one claim I made. You can get your money back if you try hard enough and provide all the info they want, ofcourse if you are eligible for seller protecion that is (1st rule, never post to a unconfirmed address, 2nd rule always have a tracking number).

Kinda get used 2 it when you run an online business, you get the occasional scammer :(

Only if you can show paypal the proof (tracking numbers, sig confirmation etc) that you sent the product, then you're pretty much in the clear. The problem with paypal though, is that there is only protection for the buyer, not really the seller, if the buyer files a claim against you.

If you can proove the product was delivered it is a criminal matter in the UK, for somone to file for a refund for no receipt.
    It is deception
