Which is important? Pr or Alexa traffic rank? I noticed in this forum that most sites by members, especially directory sites have higher PRs but low alexa traffic ranks... For me, PR is useless when it comes to earning compared to alexa traffic rank... My 2 month old site has zero PR but ranked 87,456 in alexa with around 20K unique hits per day and with an average of $8 to $12 in adsense earnings... yet no PR... So tell me how you could earn with high PR sites with low traffic compared to low PR sites with high traffic?
$8 to $12 a day is seriously low for a site with 20k uniques a day. Anyway, to answer the question. I personally wouldn't care too much about PR (easier said than done I know). It's all about having the traffic. Once you have the traffic (and 20k uniques is definitely very good traffic), your options broaden considerably.
PR+Alexa can both important depending what you do. Traffic often is more important that either of these like mentioned early... and targeted traffic might be most important. It depends what you are selling. Ads? Links? Consulting? Ebooks? Software?
Yeah you should be earning a lot more. Esp as that is uniqes, not even page views (Which i expect would be at least 1.5 times higher). You could be earning 10 times that (assuming a relatively competitive niche with ads not just paying 2cents...) with ppc. possibly higher with ppa if there are items relating to your site. but as for your q -- pr/alexa mean **** all tbh. i make more money with some sites that have 0 pr and pretty bad alexa than some of my "better" sites in terms of pr and alexa. only good thing about them are tehy're a very quick indication as to how good quality a site is (and easy to use high pr to sell links)
Alexa is cool, but too inaccurate, PR does helps SERPS a bit not much. Depends what you using it for. Both are a bit overated i think.
PR is much more accurate then alexa in general. Since your site is doing well I would suggest not to worry about them. Just give it some time, they will follow you. Which alexa already doing.
tell us how you got that traffic 20k unique hits per day !! Since traffic so important than PR and Alexa count for selling any product that your visitors want so you can have good income from that traffic.
I would say both are important in monetizing your site. High PR links cost more. High Traffic links cost more too.
I never consider both important because PR is nothing and Alexa is not that accurate. But Alexa is better than PR if I am to be asked.
both are important for me i make money off both but your site is still new i don’t think there has been a PR update in a while but i could be wrong
I prefer Alexa personally. PR is important when I'm looking into an Article Directory to publish to, but for my own sites I generally only look at Alexa. Either one really doesn't matter much to me. It's all about the traffic.

It is very easy and very fast to increase alexa traffic rank even if you don't have real traffic if you are using alexa toolbar.
I consider the traffic.. In fact my blog has the same problem,, it is 5 months old with 1.5k uniques per day.. alexa just below 200k and no PR. So i support u Silveradan..
How old your domain registered? New domain like 1-3 months not get update that fast I think.. My site also no update yet.
