Thanks for the info Terabite, I added it in a comment on this post: http://www.45n5.com/permalink/warning-blogrush-may-violate-the-adsense-terms-of-.html
I think that it is still to early to make predictions. We should give it some more time to see the further developments.
Hehe Google's automated response. Resend them an email. They bait if you seem annoyed from their answer. Guaranteed!
No they are not. People play with their own lives by thinking that for whatever known whim that they can make money online screw a job and hard work and Google should help them make a fortune. The only people Google wants to help make a fortune is Google. Also what did many businesses do before Google??? My motto is and remains Live by Google Die by Google Terabite in answer to your question BlogRush is not much different than technorati, pingomatic, bloglines or https://draft.blogger.com/draft Googles not likely to endorse competitive products.
From Google TOS "We realize that you may have questions about a specific traffic service and whether it could potentially create invalid impressions or clicks. However, please understand that we're unable to comment on any particular third-party service." That is why you got a generic answer. I guess once blogrush grows big enough they will have to give us a clearer answer.
I am still of the opinion that there is no reason why google would not approve of BlogRush traffic.. Keep in mind though, my blog does not have any advertising at all, so i dont really care
i think we should wait and see how the blogrush acts, is that scam or not scam, don't use now as your account can be banned without notice
I don't see any reason why Google would have a problem with traffic from BlogRush. They simply show headlines from your blog and people can click on them if they want to. This is no different than advertising on a network like AdWords. BlogRush does not have any incentive for people to click, so there should be no problem.
No the reason Google didn't say anything was because they don't want to appear endorsing a program or script made by other companies.
Not a sniff of traffic in return yet, took it off the blog. It really looks like a shabby operation to this point. I'm done with it, no biggee. Lots of other bloggers can afford to be guinea pigs, I just don't have an interest in it any longer.
