Middle East and Europe Heading for a nuclear conflict?

Discussion in 'Politics & Religion' started by it career, Sep 17, 2007.

I guess by 2010 , few of the countries in middle east will make/buy few nuclear missiles. The european countries which are very close to middle east would have no option than try to attack and destroy the nukes.

It could so happen that rest of the world be a mere spectator.
As europe has got a significant migrant population even if 1% of them betrays europe , europe might not be able win the war against middle east.

Is 2010 too early ? How could this conflict be avoided ?

1%? You're pretty optimistic considering muslims are loyal to their religion before anyone or anything else, even family.

I don't believe Europe would fight it. It's too late. Bat Ye'Or has written a good book on the subject, appropriately entitled: Eurabia

I too don't believe Europe will do something about it.
You should thank the US for trying to fight these bastards, while everyone is crying about things they cannot even comprehend.
Iran and Syria will pretty soon hold nuclear threats, and no sane person would want these 2 filthy countries to hold nukes.
But hey, lets wait a lil LONGER, so they could achieve their goal, and then IF they pose a threat, maybe THEN we could act. Right.

On the other hand, I think Israel has also been de-balled. =\
I can't see anyone stopping them.

It is very sad but, it seems that it is just a matter of time that humankind is going to destroy itself, if things are as they are. Do you really naively believe that Us gov or any other is going to prevent it? It is enough to see the havoc that was caused just by 2 planes (Sept the 11), not to mention a nuclear conflict...

That book Eurabia talks about shit we never even could imagine All the events that took place between pro-Muslim Europe and the Arabs looks intertwined like a creeper - confusion to the beholder but don't get carried away: creepers support themselves and the purpose of getting tangled in each other is to get support. Looks like Europe has more tangles than support: the bad policy they had has turned into shit which they would soon gobble it up at gun-point. Look what happened to Lebanon?!!! It was predominantly a Christian state and now the Muslims have taken it over because they were busy making more children. France and England are not far away. The only good Europeans who get to survive are the Scandinavians who have made it a point not to let these bastards inside their country or at least not allow them to wag their tail.

It's only in this case, that evil might me necessary; Denmark's liberal policies won't do more good than what their far-right policies are going to do.

All we can do is wait and see, folks. For the first time, even though I know it'll take time to happen, I'm given the spooks!!!

A full-blown nuclear war between the Middle East and Europe? Talk about win/win.

    J/k...obviously :)

that's probably not going to happen. Whenever two sides get nuclear weapons they reach an agreement. Like the russians and the US, like india and pakistan. If Iran would get nukes they would most likely also make such an agreement with Israel because they would both have nukes and both would be blown up if one of the sides started a war

Consider first that the United States (the "good guy") is the only country in the world to use nuclear warfare.

You mean "atomic" I assume. We've never unleashed the fury of the nukes...yet.

Yeah I meant atomic. Wikipedia has atomic and nuclear listed as the same, never knew much of a difference.

    That's well put.

It would be better if all countries had them because they act as a great deterrent and would prevent the kind of disaster that we are seeing in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I still find it amazing that only certain counties are "allowed" to have nukes.

It is also worth remembering by all our Bush loving carpet slippered wearing pussy war supporters sat cheerleading the BS from the comfort and safety of their own homes that only one country has ever used one on another country, the USA.

Look how bully boy Bush and the rest of the neocons stopped picking on N.Korea when they found that they had some kind of nuke capability. ;)

Agreement????? Between who???? Arabs and others? Consider that written in water cos I'm sure the Arabs will unite together to fight rest of the world just like they did during the Six Days war. Making an agreement is easy but we never had any Arab nation with nuclear weapons so far.

Did you read the Scorpion and Turtle parable I posted at

It surely reflects what I have posted here.

I'd just get some nuclear satellite launchers, a few public broadcast hijacking devices, and some leaflet payloads to be delivered from space ready. That way if anyone makes a move I dump leaflets from a few capsules that slow down over the target altitude, warn them via all their communications to cease and desist, and upon failure to do so - show them what will happen.

Problem solved. Europe stays decadent, and the Middle East stays decaying. Then I start phase II and declare myself ruler of the world - or else.

There already is an islamic state having nukes and they did reach an agreement with India. As long as both sides have nukes there whon't be a nuclear war. It's not like the arab countries are suicidal.

that's nothing more than an stereotype

most european countries are not even ready with that much of weapons, they are more of tourist attractions and peaceful locations.
