BlogRush - The Official Word From Adsense

Here is the response from Adsense Support when asked about the use of BlogRush:

A bit of a non-answer...

"We don't encourage or endorse the use of a program like this"

Means:

"Use it at you rown risk, 'cause we might kick your arse sooner than later :|"

Has anyone used BlogRush on a regular web site (other than a blog)? Has it shown any results?

 

Interesting to say the least.

Adsense doesn't support anything non - google made btw.

 

I think it may work as long as you have an rss feed

I'm testing it out on a normal site with an rss feed.....we'll see how it goes.

Hmm I don't quite get it why google would have a problem with this. Isn't this just like some sort of blogroll when two owners of blogs link each other ?

 

Yeah, that is kind of what I figured. Either way, it hasn't exactly worked for me at all yet, 0 visitors through Blogrush...

Thanks, for posting Google’s response to our inquiry! At least we know where we stand now… LOL

I can see the reason why Google can not give a definite answer on this apparatus. It is still too new, and no one, not even G has any idea of its true potential or affect. So, we ride the wave, only time will answer this for us. I hope that Google would have the decency to warn people first if it ever became a problem, before they just yank accounts. One good aspect about the gadget, it runs on JavaScript! I have heard others say, “Google does not read or follow JavaScript” on websites. So maybe, google bots might not even detect it?

I think this little gadget is pretty sexy, plus it’s great for the blogosphere. I have looked at more blogs in just the last couple days than had in three months previously. Ride the wave!

I still don't see how BlogRush is going to deliver traffic to thousands of blogs.

 

Every response from Google carries that same air of obscurity, the Google support team is a joke!

 

So the Google Adsense Support's answer to your question is that they are not going to give you an answer. How useful they are...

Blogrush is starting to smell like a scam. I've shown 8k impressions in three days, got zero in return. I've spoken to other bloggers who have had three times my amount, and haven't seen an ounce of traffic.

Pretty good deal for blogrush to have all this free traffic, and not deliver one single visitor.

I'll give it another day, thats it.
