site: http://vi.goro.us/ I was looking at Reviewme.com, but I'm not sure how many users I can actually get out of it. I already have around 500 users per day on average and get 300-400 submitted links (I just added images/videos today (they get parsed out of youtube and flickr submits)) and I have been able to filter out spam about 99% of the time with a very unique system that I developed. I have made around $1000 through ads so far (on all of my sites), and would like to reinvest into this site to get more traffic. I've used adwords with little success, and I used stumbleupons ads, but it seems that they stay on the page for about a minute then never come back. What would you do to promote it? Also, when you look at it, can you tell me how fast the page loaded (fast, medium, slow)? Thanks.
Hi, $1000 cannot achieve much using PPC. Why don't you look at article marketing as your main traffic driving strategy? $1000 can get you close to 200 articles written and when posted over time can build you a huge consistent flow of targeted quality traffic! Alternatively, invest part of it in a good article submission software and the rest in hiring ghostwriters to write some quality articles. There are other ways to promote: 1. Social bookmarking 2. Directory submission 3. Rss feed submission And so on. You can find out more powerful traffic driving strategies I use from my free report.
post article as much as possibe. it will bring you quality traffic. after posting article if the traffic is not enough. then spend the money to bring the traffic to your site. Regards
It sounds like you've done this before, if you were to write 200 low quality articles but targeting certain keywords, what sort of traffic would you expect to receive to each?
Reviews are great, and can give some awesome short term "burst" traffic, but remember, you'll be lucky if the review stays on the front page for more than 12-24 hours. I agree with the article submissions. Those seem to be pretty hot right now, and can deliver some nice, long term, spread out traffic. I would probably spend about half on keyword rich articles, and the other half on banner ads on related and relevant blogs.
Yes Articles will do a lot of good to you. Since you have some money, write and then use ArticleMarketer.com to distribute to thousands - about 64,000 right now. Used them and my links suddenly jumped up.
I would personally get some seo work done on the site, maybe spend $500 on that. i would then spend the remaining $500 on google adwords campaign
I agree, you'll get further with SEO efforts by articles postings, blog postings etc. Just make sure you have the Basic SEO techniques covered
If I were you, I'd do the article writing and submissions myself and spend the $1,000 on a better design or something.
Pardon the self promotion, but I figured I would at least suggest it. You could kill 3 birds with one stone by purchasing a micro investment word on wordhugger.com. Lots of traffic + keyword anchor text SEO backlinks + branding.
I work at a software development corp. for the seo section, though my own sites aren't optimized right now...but if I had $1000, I would choose the article posting and link purchasing(even if there are some penalized)
I have to agree with richuser...Hire a SEO professional. I am tryin gto hook one up from kasamba. My site is nothing to write home about though.
