Where did you hear that from? Their blog or emails? People were reporting trouble just yesterday, so unless the news is from today, I'd find a new source.
Haha thanks fsmedia! Now if only that information was mentioned somewhere... would have helped. The "it only works in the javascript" bit...
My clicks are still out of whack but it appears that my earnings this month have been updated & look like they were back in July. How about everyone else?
Mine aren't nearly THAT good. It's still looking like I'm making about 50% of what I did in July and about 30% of June. Still much better than Adsense, but not as good as the "good old days" of a few months ago.
My numbers are back again - still useless click-through rates, but a few cents every day. Quite frankly, it looks like they guess I was owed $4 and randomly distributed it over the last month...
Great, now when will they pay the missing August and July earnings? Or did they just pocket those when the company was sold?
I already have twice the clicks I had in August but zero conversions That's why they probably bumped up the minimum payout to $50, so you would have to stick with them until you reach that.
Has anyone ever been paid a referral fee for someone signing up with E-Bay. It's suppose to be $25 if someone pays up and wins an auction. I'm very curious. If you have where does it show up. On the auctionads Account page they show a referral field, but is that for AuctionAd referrals or E-Bay referrals? Something tells me they aren't paying us for new E-Bay sign-ups!!!!!!
I love AuctionAds for these facts: > They allow you to have ads open in a NEW window. > They get MUCH better CTR that other things. > They have a build in affiliate. > You control the keywords and can rotate them. But... you just need to many clicks to turn a profit. And I also experienced a drop in clicks for some reason. I love the look and everything about em' but unless you have a BIG site you may as well stick to Adsense.
I've been watching AA for a long time. I like what they did. I didn't know they were bought. Does anyone have details. Also - You guys seem to be pretty up on eBay-based revenue streams. Interested in trying out something new?
Those are actually the reasons many of us went with AA to begin with... Its the support and reports that are making people wonder of those pros outweigh the cons.
I finally converted almost all of my ads from AA to CJ/ebay. Once I found the right ad on ebay it was fairly easy to change them. Same format, same keywords, so I am interested in seeing if there is any performance difference.
Split testing is the only way to be sure about how AA is really working. Anyway, I just tried out setting minprice and negative keywords. As far as I can tell neither of these features work at all. When I add either, I get ads unrelated to my keyword.
I've read a few pages and noticed many people were having problems with AA. I have a number of popular sites I am looking to replace adsense with AA... Is switching to AA worth it right now?
