    Hi All,

It may sound crazy to you. But I want to create a website for my friend and in that I would like to include an online chat option like yahoo messenger, where she can talk to only one person at a time on the other end . Can anybody tell me is it possible? Can we do this in HTML? And also, I want to know how much does it cost more than normal websites?

I mean some thing like interactive sessions in her own site, where she can teach music or art or anything to the registered people, without having the problems she faces during yahoo chat.. like noise etc..

Any info that you can provide me will be greatly appreciated!

    Thankyou in advance.

There are a few scripts and services out there that offer this feature. If you use a host w/cpanel fantastico may even have the software you desire.

I'd actually go with Flash for this one to reduce the burden on the server. Perhaps MeeboMe would work for you. http://www.meebome.com

If your site is located on a cPanel based sever, Then you have the privilege of using cPanel "one click install" chat room features, there are several including php chat, Java chat and many more.

hmm, any reason why you think it cant be done with ASP, .Net, JSP, Coldfusion? :D

Ajax likewise isnt necessary but does make it much more usable.
