With that amount of traffic i would rather develop the domain into a working site and work out with ads to monetize it. Look at the history of the domain and build a similar site to keep it going. Other ways, don't even think to sell that domain under $700 (even tho it has mainly Chinese traffic which is not what webmasters call quality traffic).
The ad words are right at the top of page, thought that would be a great place to put them, i will have a wee look and see how it goes, unfortunately at the moment i don't have a great deal of time to spend on it. Thank's for all the help!!! Great forum going here!
Have added a couple of extra image adds below the form, is it too much? http://www.findbebo.com and a large banner above the page they go to after clicking "Go" Will see how it goes
1) Proxy sites usually don't do well with Adsense (at least in a revenue per visitor sense) 2) Chinese traffic is worth very little
Changed the ads to text, must agree, looking nicer, was thinking that images might be a bit more tempting to click on that's all
"That's not possible, 22,928 uniques and only 80 cents adsense." Work with this for first. You really doing something wrong.
Had an immediate impact, Sunday, September 16, 2007 3,324 4 0.12% $0.20 $0.65 Ok it's not much but it's not far off what it had made in the whole time it was live.
well when i visit the site, all the ads are about gastric bypass and about weight loss ... :/ not really "on-topic"
$150 is a fair price. This is huge traffic.... If I were you, I would have kept it and monetized. You have adsense already so keep it... Try find better place for adsense and you must get good revenue......
Proxy sites are possibly one of the worst kinds of sites for adsense. Most people go to the site with only the intent of typing in the site they want to bypass. And seeing as how you can't put ads at the top of the proxied pages, the only ads you can have are on the front page.
