So it looks like you kid is a junkie and need help.
First, you'll deal your way. How? Let's beat him until that change?
Secondly, he will easily change his sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual the same way you'll have easy to change from heterosexual to homosexual: It's not gonna to happen because it is genetic....
So your kid will be rjected all his life. You are an untolerant hetero parent that is doing way worse than tolerant homo parents...

I've just given you a website to check out. There are MANY who beat their anal sex addiction (www.syrogers.com). YOU CAN GET HELP. If you give a sick man a pill that will cure him, if he doesn't take the pill it won't help him. When it comes to changing it's like this: "If you think you can, or if you think you can't, YOU ARE RIGHT" Makes sense?

    Grim, your logic is flawed.
You cannot seem to grasp what people are trying to tell you.
It is understood that being gay, in the 'idea', eliminates the traditional way of having a child.
    However, this is simply irrelevant.

Let's take the example of a person who lost his legs. He was a normal fellow, and he loved driving his car for 20 years. Now, after he was unfortunate enough to lose his legs, should he not buy a special car so he could drive - just because he "traditionally" cannot drive ?? Or people who are born without any legs, should they not even bother to drive because back in the day cars weren't designed for these people ?
    That's plain BS.

Just because the driver can't drive the 'traditional' way, does that mean he will be a bad driver ?
Just because a gay person cannot conceive the 'traditional' way, does that mean he will be a bad parent ?

We are talking about sodomites here. These poo pushers do have control over their actions. You still don't seem to grasp the difference. You want to have kids? If it's about love after all and love is a choice, choose to love a woman and then think about marriage and all the other things that come natural. The thing is YOU CAN stop having anal sex (being gay) and get on with your life.

What if God made them gay? After all, God is the great divine being, right? .....

Also, there is no 'rule' that gays have to agree to that says in order to be a proud gay that have to give up hope for a family.

You can be a proud gay and still raise a child. Being gay affects their sexuality. That's it. Everything else is the same. They like the same foods as everyone else, they hold the same jobs, so on. And sexuality has nothing to do with raising a child, since there is nothing sexual about it.

Heterosexual can raise a child, homosexual can raise a child.. asexual can raise a child. Because the caregivers sexuality doesn't matter AT ALL.

Hell, you don't even have to be the same species to take care of another creature. Humans adopt animals, animals adopt other animals....as long as someone is willing to provide the care then the rest doesn't matter..

Devil you are the one with the flawed logic, again you come up with a 'health' issue, not something that was not possible because of a lifestyle choice and or lifestyle that was not chosen, however you put it.

You people keep up this argument, the only way your argument holds even a shread of 'logic' is if you are also saying being gay is a 'health' condition.

If you are unable to do that, well then your argument is less then pathetic, it doesn't even reach that stature.

Health problem yet again is TOTALLY different, yet that's the only thing you can cling to.

Comparing driving a car to a child also is, well lame as hell. A child is not property ;)

For starters I am not 100% against gays having kids, if a gay woman has a child before or for whatever reason and raises it that way I am not for taking the children or anything away. I however will not support Gays adopting children, as being gay, it is so simple to see unless you choose not to = not being able to have kids.
Yet again there are MANY straight couples who can not even get kids, they wait for years  I have answered over and over and over why I feel they should not be allowed to adopt.

Is it not a natural born right that a child has a male & female to look after 'it' or one or the other & not two people of the same sex?

I love the whole "bad influence" argument. By some of your logic we also shouldn't allow anyone who smokes, drinks, or engages in any kind of reckless behavior adopt kids, b/c they might teach them to do the same. You know... it wasn't that long ago that people were up in arms over single people being able to adopt, b/c they believed all kids should be placed in a two-parent home. Now, it's relatively common... frankly with the divorce rates here there was no doubt after a while that a single parent home life wasn't necessarily going to royally screw a kid up, so there wasn't a solid argument against the adoptions. Gay couples raising children is just new, and like anything else new it's going to come up against a lot of criticism. In the end, I wouldn't be surprised to see it as the norm. The idea that they'll all raise their kids to be gay is just ridiculous. If you're so concerned about that, maybe heterosexual couples shouldn't be allowed to have kids either, since they "produce" the gays and lesbians anyway. It's always amusing how fear and ignorance overpower basic facts.

At a much smaller ratio to straight couples, something tells me that a higher ratio of gays will be produced via gay couples raising kids.
I have read such reports, this however still is not a reason I am against it, but a pretty easy to grasp idea..

When you see something being the norm, when it's how you are raised, you are more likely to become that way. This holds true for anything, including how you eat, music you listen to, how you raise your own children. You learn from your parents...

As far as straights producing the gays, we also produce the straights, and oyeah the vast majority of all children. ;)

Well, lesbians can. Any woman can be inseminated these days, regardless of whether you have a female partner at home, a male partner, or no partner at all. And no, it's really not different than someone with physical or health issues. If a man chooses to marry a woman who he knows can't have a baby, does that mean he's unfit to be a parent by adoption, b/c he made a choice to be in that situation?

Grim, so "something tells you" that?? Come on. Have facts to back up an argument; not speculation. You have a right to your opinion; just don't base opinions on "guesses" and then treat that as fact. The fact will always remain that most gays are born to straight couples. The only way they wouldn't be is in a case of insemination, and even then there would have to be a huge percentage of those children ending up gay for it to be the case.

Yes it is totally different then a health condition as the lifestyle devoids the ability to have a child. It's pretty simple to see, unless you choose not to.

Anyone can get inseminated, well anyone can go kill someone, anyone can go smoke some crack, doesn't make it right now does it?

And like I said before, raising a child is not sexual so the sexual orientation of the caregiver doesn't matter.

    ----

Question: What would a gay person NOT be able to provide for a child? (that a straight or asexual* person would be able to)

(asexuals can adopt? I'm not sure)

And I think sexuality is mostly genetic. There will be some cases where someone might become gay because of abuse (say..if they were raped) but I think mostly it's in their make up.

So if it's in a kid's genes to be straight, they'll be straight regardless of who cares for them. Their instincts will make them attracted to the opposite sex. And if they're going to be gay, they will be gay regardless of who their parents are.

I know when I was a child I didn't 'choose' to be straight. I didn't sit down and fill out some form saying I'm straight. My parents also didn't 'raise' me to be straight. I'm just attracted to men - no one taught me that. It's just in my make up.
