Why are so few of my pages indexed in MSN?

Google, AlltheWeb and Altavista indexed over 2000 of my pages according to SmartPageRank. Yahoo indexed over 3000 pages. MSN indexed... 80 pages.

    Huh???

Any idea why so few of my pages had been indexed by MSN? The only thing I can think of is that I have Bad Behavior installed, and maybe it interfered with MSN's attempts to index all of my site. Other than that I got no clue.

Just give it some time, it's not a big deal at all...

You got a sitemap? That could be the problem.

Yep I have a sitemap, also included the address to it in my robots file. Not sure it's that though.

Well funny enough I usually expierience the exact opposite with MSN being the first to crawl most of my site, Google usually takes the longest. But since they have released their Live search I don't know whether their algorithm has changed or the way they update their index.

But I wouldn't worry, as long as the other main search engines are indexing your pages, there is obviously no crawl issue, just give it a bit of time.

Cool, I was just afraid my Bad Behavior plugin might have inadvertently been blocking the MSN bots from crawling my site. I may have to double check my logs just to make sure.

Well yes you should always check, but before jumping to a conclusion I would sit it out for about another week, and see how it goes.
