Blog Rush is becoming a big hit right now. It promises to drive relevant traffic to your web site for free. You give exposure to others and they give exposure back to you. Go to www.blogrush.com for more information. What do you think is this against adsense tos?
I also think that Blogrush will become a big blog traffic generator. I'm exited what will happen with my blog the next weeks.
I have added blog rush on my blog @ http://www.amitbhawani.com/blog/ but i dont see any incomming visitors and nor any stats on the backend @ http://www.blogrush.com/members/reports i see a message with page title - Under Construction
IMHO it should not violate the TOS - it's just an advertising system, although it's free. I also added it to my blog yesterday but so far not only have i not seen any traffic from it, but all the links that i see - on my blog or anyone else's are the same. The links never seem to change.. It's still in beta so i'll give it some time.. Luckily the widget doesn't look bad on my blog so i don't mind leaving it up. PS - for all my fans, you can sign-up under my referral by going to My Blog and clicking the "Add your posts free" at the bottom of the BlogRush "From the Blogosphere" widget on the right-column. /spam=off .
Seems like JohnCow has seen some results (at least thats what he reports). But i still believe that BlogRush will work best for those sites that ALREADY have big steady traffic. Anyway i am giving it a try (placed it yesterday), yet to see how it will perform. The widget is pretty ugly and does not suit my layout, will give it 1 week time if the traffic does not repay the ugly widget i will have to say rush out of my blog
Which I think is good to make sure that bloggers who work hard on their blog get an increase rather than seeing low quality MFA blogs benefitting and disappointing those who check out their blogs.
This could also mean to halt those that want to grow and feed the big fishes. Said this the slogan "Build traffic to your blog" is not that accurate, it should more likely be "Already have lots of traffic? Want More? Get some extra traffic with BlogRush"
But it also let's them know that this is not a magic potion doing the work for you. Which it shouldn't be.
With that said, you are telling the smaller bloggers not to use BlogRush until they get a decent traffic or what?
No, I think they should sign up while promoting their blog on other places as well, and most of all look at the successful blogs for inspiration and work on providing more and better info to those who will come to their blogs. Blog promotion to me is a snowball effect. Once you get to the level where you appeal to the readers, they will pass you on and all you really have to worry about then is making good posts.
I am not very hopeful with Blogrush. I do not think that the system is anything very different from many other scemes.
Why? I don't think that that system is bad, it seems to me that everyone will win. The only one losing out will be Google which less people will be using in order to find more blogs.
