    I've always found the whole 'respect your elders' thing to be annoying. I realize that teenagers and young adults might have lots to learn still about life and stuff that older people would have already been through, but I'd rather we focus on just respecting everyone, regardless of their age, class, gender, etc.

    It might be annoying but it is celebrated in Japan so either wish them a good holiday or bounce.:)
