What if someone out bids you for the belly button lint? You could just buy stuff from yourself. You'll know the going price, and should be able to figure out the take on it. The day we got upped to $25 I was showing 3.2 cents with nothing in the reports yet. In fact, the $25 is not in the reports, so I am unsure how/where to compute that into my stats. *shrug*
my click rate drop to 1/30th of usual click levels from August 6th. I sent them an email and they say everything is working fine, obviously not. I've not earnt a dime this month. I'm definately switching as soon as I find an alternative. If I'm $0 does that mean that the 27 people I've referred have also earnt $0 this month.
I earned 3 cents, but it doesn't show in my reports, which doesn't really matter, as it was absorbed into my $25 bonus....so in a way, I guess I earned $25 this month Though, with the 50 or so people that have posted in this thread, I'm willing to bet there are a few who've not made all that much (if anything). However, if you referred them, you likely know a few? Ask them (or have them post here).
When I checked my site yesterday I noticed the ; operator had stopped working and I was showing random ads. I changed to the simpler "japan minprice:10" and I'm currently showing 3 iPod auctions, one for $0.99. Three refreshes in a row show more iPod stuff, half of them under the $10 mark. No wonder I'm getting no sales! BTW, I'm using the old style ads. I've just removed the "minprice" and I'm showing the correct ads. Hurrah! I went back to "japan;kimono;hello kitty" and I'm showing Webkinz only. Boo!
minprice and maxprice have never worked for me, even trying the simplest examples I get 0 results returned. eg. ipod minprice:10 - 0 results xbox minprice:10 - 0 results computer maxprice:1000 - 0 results
that's because you don't put it in when you're searching for keywords, you only put it in the javascript. search for "ipod" and then when you're pasting the code onto your site, add the minprice:10 etc etc
I take it back now... I'm getting Current Bid: $0.00 now...and two ads, rather than the normal three. They take me to the ebay main page rather than an item as well. These are FAR worse than off topic ads! I wonder if this is happening to just the smaller publisher, or if the bigger ones are havingin the same issues... but then at this point, I wonder if there are any big ones left.
How do you get people to click on thies and buy? I had 1300 page impressions and zero clicks. What type of items sell?? I put ipod,playstation,nintendo..no clicks.
Something related to your page would likely be ideal... a clothing site selling wii likely won't get many clicks. A wii site selling clothing likewise won't get much interest. A clothing site selling clothing however may prove decent...though be careful that you are not competing with yourself.
Exactly. If they can't get the reporting or relevancy right on a consistent basis, it's unrealistic to expect the Sandbox to work properly.
If it makes anyone feel better, there was a 20% bump in past earnings for the month that occurred late last night or this morning.
I can't speak for the other guy, but that's what I was doing and seeing minprice fail completely in the live ad on my site. I saw the same failure with the ";" on my site too.
