Does google mean much to your website?

Yup, Google give my site lots of traffic.

 

75% of my traffic comes from Google for the Free Press Release Center compared to 0.5% for Yahoo. Which I guess is because that site doesn't rank highly in Yahoo.

it's even frightening.. with my bigger sites google represents about 70 - 80% of my traffic.. and my smaller sites the majority of traffic there comes from postings, blogs and link exchanges...

it's scary how much we depend and want google to send us traffic...

 

I get about 50% from google, the rest is from people clicking on links.....very little from yahoo or msn

 

Massively important, 73% of all search-engine traffic and 33% of all traffic.

 

Not scary at all, that's what they're there for, no?

 

As a directory owner, I accept that Google means lots of things to me and my websites.

 

On one of my sites that I monitor constantly, for the month of Aug, 41% Google, about 10% each for Yahoo and MSN.

Unfortunately the big G means a lot to my sites. I can't get the other se's to do anything so I work with what I can.

 

Google in the past has served me beautifully. No other search engine can compare traffic-wise to what Google sends to people's websites.

 

Google delivers thousands of visitors to my sites every week.
