Will google pay up if you get banned?

If google bans your adsense account do you still get paid whatever you have earned in previous months?

 

No, they won't pay you.

It depends how you get banned. Some people have gotten the money after being banned.

 

I would say no, say the reason you got banned because you clicked on your ads well then why would they pay you out for clicking on your own ads?

If you get banned its usually for a bad thing, so you wont get paid, they 99% of the time warn before banning you.

 

they wont pay you for the amount that you got illegal clicks for (if that is the case for which you were banned.) If you get banned for having ads on a bad site, and thats where all your clicks came they wont pay you.

If you clicked on a couple of your ads after earnign a couple hundred, then they' pay you what you earned, but take out the clicks you made yourself.

 

Thats what I thought hades...

You should still recieve a cheque for the outstanding amount minus any fraudulent clicks etc.

If you get money before they cancel your check, you will get money. But in most cases, you won't get money.

 

nope. Someone once posted the email they got when they got banned and it said something like this:"we have chosen to exercise the right to withhold payments and the money will be refunded to advertisers respictively" pr sonethinh along those lines. I do however remember a few cases that they have paid but deducted some money that they thought was fraud.

Actually they are saying different things. Adsense will pay you as long as they dont think the money you earned was against their TOS

Well I have been banned before and I know people who have been banned before and they usually have this information on whether they are going to pay you in the 'banned' e-mail. Usually the answer is 'no' since most people get banned for invalid clicks.

If you think about it invalid clicks is theft, why should they pay money to people who are stealing from their advertisers. Google take this very seriously, take not getting your money a light punishment (if this is the reason why you got banned).

I got banned for giving out my AdSense information in the past, as I never read the T&C's properly I didn't know this was prohibited, but I got paid since it wasn't anything to do with conning money from them.

Basically to sum it all up, it depends on what you did to get banned, to whether they decide to pay you or not.

Yes I got paid, because I got banned for showing screenshots of my AdSense, that was a few years back now, I never read the T&C's correctly, but after I sent an e-mail to them my account got reinstated as well.

The next time I got banned about a year back was because I got click-bombed, and because I didn't track my click I got banned for good, and didn't get a penny.
