I have a very large list of double opt in email addresses (not spam!) that I am trying to send an email to. Currently these email addresses are in 3 seperate text files. One is 700,000 one is 500,000 and one is 5 million email addresses. They are one address per line. I have them loaded into Mozilla Thunderbird but it keeps choking on them, Im guessing its just too much for it to handle. This is a very important newsletter for my ecomerce website that is time sensative so I need a better piece of software or a service that will let me upload my list and let me send the mail that way. I am shooting them through my own mail server and they are all 100% non spam. Does anyone have any ideas?
Check out Group Mail from www.infacta.com. It works very well. That's what I use. I also have my emails in a plan text file one per line, and it can import thousands in seconds. Great program.
That looks like exactly like what I am looking for. So I can just point it to my text files and it will suck all the addresses up? How long does it take to send emails? Something basic, just a few paragraphs of text. Did you buy the personal or business version? Thanks for the tip!
get a linux box or run cygwin on windows and I can whip you up something in perl that will email 20k+ a hour no sweat...
Thanks for the offer shoe, but I think I will go with this. Do you know how much faster the business version is? I dont know if I should get it or not.
No, I do not know exactly. You may want to take a look at this page: www.infacta.com/gmdifferences.asp
