    Hello all

Today I was digging for some info on SUPPLEMENT pages and came across one of seo blogs.
    It sais:
Google may supplement your website if more than one pages of your site have same description on each page

    I am shocked :D:(
    It that true? Seriously.

**thanks in advance, need your advices here...

If this is true regarding the same description on each page...

How about the same meta "keywords" on each page??
    does anybody have an idea?..

Google has removed the supplemantal tag from the listings, though index still exists..

Meta descriptions used to be one the causes for a page to go in supplemental index, the scenario now has changed.. Pages dont go in supplemental even though the descriptions are similar, as long as pages have sufficient Link Juice and PR passing through them. It has been tested and proved now..

If you wanna try it.. try it.. create exactly similar descriptions for 3 or more pages, although u cant see if a page now is in supplemental however u can judge that.. if the pages are getting sufficient backlinks and PR, they will remain in main index only..

Meta keywords too are obsolete .. the engines for which this tag was made has been off since a long time, but webmastrs like to use this tag for no reason..Google simply throws it way..so forget meta keywords tag ... Forever.

In SHort: Meta descriptions causing the pages to go in supplemental is a thing of past now..(btw, did you see the date of the article? :D)

There is no problem leaving the same meta key`s on all wpages. This meta isnt counted by G.
