I have only started in 2006. I don't have much skill yet but I am learning something new each day.

For about 5-6 years. Would have been more but I quit around the age of 16 only to start up again not too long ago.

    - 5 years and going (15 yrs old to now), or at least until I focus on my real career

    - HTML, CSS, XTHML, some PHP, some Javascript, graphic design

    - I've made enough to pay bills and then some in a couple of days, but that was years ago (apparently owning a self-made business as a teenager really surprises adults). I'm trying to get back into the game since I don't have a real psychical job right now. I'd much rather be making a couple of hundred per commission online than making $7 an hour at a minimum wage job (which is why I've never had a real job). You have fun doing it and you get something out of it.

How long have you been a webmaster?

I don't try to be a "normal Webmaster"; I'm learning to be much more.

    What skills do you possess?

    Well...

    • Basic "webmaster" is easy (as a hobby, not a business) those 'skills' aren't hard
    • I've tackled the learning curve on over a dozen Open Source Projects.
    • My #1 skill is very advanced creative thinking and original ideas...
    • ...this should give me a bright future.

I enjoy 'experimental' graphics, not great skill, but...
...sometimes "a picture really does say a 1,000 words"

Do you make enough to money online to pay all your bills?

I've been spending extra $$$ renewing many domains until 2009 and 2010, so...
    ..."No, not yet"

I've been a webmaster for almost 5 years.. Since I was about to turn 14. I'm almost 19 now.

It's a great time to be alive.
Wish I was under 20 years old too!!

Well, I did some programming (perl mainly) in the late 90's as a hobby...

then a few years ago, bought some good domains... developed them, got decent traffic, decent earnings... then got deployed, didn't remember to renew them, lost all the good ones...

so now last november i bought a bunch more domains and am starting over... it sucks... if i still had the old one's i'd be doing pretty good...

I'm wondering how many webmasters are capable to make a PHP site with notepad, a keyboard and nothing else (no book help, no google help, just by knowledge)? Or even in plain HTML?

Not PHP, but ASP... Notepad is what I use for everything, CSS/HTML/ASP/JavaScript... I hate all those fancy things that try to finish your sentences for you, and add in unnecessary code...
