Digitalpoint.in ! Woo Give an Appraisal please ...

I have registered Digitalpoint.in. Shall i sell it after few years or shall i start a discussion community for Indian webmasters ?

Any suggestions ?

I think, if DigitalPoint is registered co. they can throw legal issue over.

no i think its only illigal if digitalpoint is a trademark which i duno..

 

It seems Digitalpoint.net & Digitalpoint.org also registered by someone else rather than digitalpoint.com.

don't think digitalpoint is a trademark. Since you purchased the domain even if they were to trademark it now the domain was registered before the trademark was so you'd be in clear water (from what I know).

Not a trademark but it wouldn't be very nice to start a site similar to Digitalpoint using a similar name.. that's stealing somebody elses idea..

 

I suggest not to start something similar to DP, it won't be fair. AFAIK, there is no trademark issue with the name.. If you grabbed the name for good purpose, there won't be any problems..

 

I would say. Sell it to DP, before they try suing you.
