You’ll be fine, when I edited my web pages I always had tons of impressions and nothing happened. Depending on what you do they usually send you a warning first before banning you.
True, but it would be nice if MS and IE could adhere to the same standards everyone else does.. It sucks having to re-test/design/de-bug everything on a Windoze machine to insure that those stuck with that old OS get a decent viewing experience.
use any visitors tracking code like www.statcounter.com and keep your log files to report google if you will get banned
when i visit your site, everythink looks good for me. i think your site is completely ok for the adsense
Awww man does that mean I should upgrade, too? I didn't even see the ad in Lynx Seriously, though, why would you contact them if you haven't done anything wrong. I refresh quite a bit and have never run into a problem. If you're testing placement of ads, there's a trick to keep your impressions from you down. Make up a snippet of html code that consists of some table code the size of the ad you are going to place. Instead of pasting the code directly into your pages, use includes. When you are finished with your testing, copy a second file which contains the actual adsense code to the filename that you are including. This has the added benefit of being able to change ad colors across a wide range of pages by only editing one file. If you get banned from adsense and need to change all your pages to some other ad network, you only have to edit a few files instead of your whole site. And, if someone starts clicking wildly on your ads and you're worried about being banned for click fraud, just remove the adsense code from your few include pages and there will be no ads for the visitor to bomb.
When I first started with AS, I was concerned about the number of impressions I was generating when I worked on my own site so I wrote to G. They wrote back saying don't worry about it so I don't.
I got the same type of response. The main reason I try to keep my impressions to a minimum is that it louses up my statistics
