The commissions can be good, but they update/change every quarter. They have different tiers of commission percentages though.

For example 1-10 will be 5%, 11-100 will be 5.25% or whatever. 101-500 will be 6%. That sort of thing.

There are automatic caps on thing such as laptops/desktop computers. You won't get a percentage, you'll just get the commission fee which is whatever they assign. The capped commission was $25 when I was with the program back in April 2006. For example, you sell a $1400 computer, but it doesn't matter what you rpercentage is, you'll still get $25 commission.

One doubt about this script: doesn't CJ ban accounts with cloaked sites/domains ?
    Anyone knows this?

We've been in business selling this for over a year now and never had a single customer lose a cj account. I've personally been reported by members of this forum and cj has done nothing. I started cloaking and sending traffic to cj more than 3 years ago and use the same account today. I have regular discussions about my traffic with affiliates, and they don't care as long as i'm sending targeted traffic that converts. That's what matters most is the conversion at the end of the day.

    Hi,

Well.. I am thinking of really joining this thing and see how it works for a month. I will try my level best to provide as much time as I can to this business(i.e. about 6-8 hrs per day), and Im thinking of starting with 50-60 domain names, to try out every possible aspect.(not MFA i mean really trying out different products to affiliate with)

Just hoping to get break even with the expenses in the first month, that will be around 69(SEC) + 60(Domains) + 30(VPS) = 159$
But before I purchase, I want to set everything else up, so that i utilize the maximum of the first month :). So, I guess I will purchase in two days or so, by the time I will get a CJ account working + VPS hosting.

Could you kindly reserve a spot for me too ?

    Thanx a lot again!

    *Goes Off To Work*
    Regards,
    ~KMKM

The forums are worth the $69/month alone. The support there is incredible, not to mention there are some users on the forum actually providing different services to the rest of the user base as well, including server support/installation

I've been using the software for nearly a year and have nothing but great things to say. The one thing I will say, is don't waste your time "trying it for a month." Make a commitment, no large sum of money is going to appear in a month without being stupid lucky. You can/might break even your first month depending on how you choose to develop your approach to the software, but if you don't and give up you would be sorely mistaken. Many members learn by trial and error, especially with CJ as finding the best converting merchants is a little bit of a cointoss.

If the software cost 5x what it does I would still pay for it. Would have I signed up for that price? no, but I know now that it would still be worth it.

P.S. I didn't come to this thread to preach about the system, I was just reading up on CJ and wondered where else you could do what the original post claimed...go figure

    Hello, this seems alittle shady?

Obviously, I am unexperianced but it seems like the process of working hard to build something that is destined to be banned is counter productive.

So, I guess my question is, is this legal?

Also, what is a vps? I assume it is a place to host your site. I have been to these in the past and have had extreme difficulty understanding fantstico and script and such. So wo I jus push a button to make it appear on the vps?

Also, you just saying I have to buy a domain, choose a few keywords and your software does the rest, ue puts products in my store etc?

VPS is like virtual private server... meaning, basically almost your own web server instead of being on say, a shared host.

It's not illegal. People have been doing it for over a year, merchants don't seem to have a problem with it, only Google Does. They ban your domains, perhaps, after months or weeks or even days if you are dumb with them. Google comes to your sites on its own, if you break their TOS, than they have the right to remove you. It's not illegal, you break the 'indexing agreements' or whatever, so they don't index you. Not a big deal.

Counterproductive... perhaps. But no. A domain is setup very quickly and very cheaply. Even if gets one sale, it is paid for. Most get many more than that though :)

Essentially thats about it, buy domain(s, many) , add keywords with the tools provided and you're good to go after you get your server setup.

The whole point of these script systems is to reduce the amount of time and work spent developing these data-feed sites, but they also reduce the quality of web site being created.

It my experience that cj won't ban you unless you use less than "reputable" promotional methods which doing PPC bidding on their advertisers keywords such as "zappos".

Spamming users via email will also lead to you getting banned.
