Am I allowed to put YouTube videos on a website with AdSense?

Hello,

Am I allowed to put YouTube videos (that are not mine) on a website that has AdSense on it? I think of YouTube's embed code that is present every time you watch a video on their page. Does YouTube say somewhere in their terms that if you publish your video to YouTube you agree somehow to let other users use your video too? Is there any chance to get banned on AdSense for using copyrighted content on my website because of the YouTube videos?

Good question, I know I've seen web sites with embedded videos from youtube with adsense ads on them. I think as long as the videos are not copyrighted you should be ok.

 

i agree as long as there is no copyright enfringement you should be fine..

 

How can I know that? What does that mean?

 

I wonder if how we will know that it isn't a copy righted video?. Considering that it was posted in youtube I thought all of those videos are copy righted right or am wrong about it?. Anyway I have youtube videos which I am going to delete so I will have no problem with it.

 

I don't think that as a problem I know manysites which do that with no problems

 

That's no problem because youtube guys will remove copyright film

I think it's fine as long as you're not running a site with just Youtube videos and Google ads.

 

i saw some sites having adsense and youtube videos embedded , like vdos about their products , no problem as far as i know , if i am wrong please correct me ..............

 

I have added several videos from Youtube to my blog, and so far I have had no problems. And I do use adsense.

 

I don't think google will ban you if you have copyrighted vids from youtube because most are and google owns youtube why would they want you to not use the videos

 

Google videos also have embed code in it.
So, can I embed those videos also in my site ?
They are providing embed code means, are they encouraging or agreeing to embed that video in other sites right ??
I asked same question to adsense team and they didn't reply me properly.

if the video isnt copyrighted then i dont think its that big a deal

 

If the video is copyrighted then why youtube or google will allow to upload into them.
And how to know which videos are copyrighted.

 

Well, categorically, they should.

But have a close look on youtube....go to the music video as an actual
demo of what im trying to point out here...

yup....plenty of copyrighted materials...and they've been there for ages..

You'll notice though that they will filter child pornography and other related
materials fast but not on these ones....

 

You can embed youtube videos and google videos as long as you're not creating a site called "Watch Free Movies" or of the sort.
