Well if you have popular blogs/website sell some advertising space. Rather than sell the space to one person sell it to a certain amount of clients (I usually go for 10-20), and create a small script which rotates the adverts by impressions. And actually sell the adverts by impressions. Another money making idea could be to even go into the content writing industry, you can work from home, and if you have rather good spelling, grammar and don't duplicate content already on the Internet, you could easily make about $30-40/day maybe even more. I will be looking for content writers very soon - so if you want and you are interested I will keep you in mind. But take note that you have to have some general knowledge on the subject the client wants you to write on. If you are any good at SEO, you could even offer your services in a few webmaster forums at a cheap rate, and charge per/page. I have done this myself before and earned about $250 in a day for a couple of hourse work. And, since there is a lot of newbie webmasters on the Internet scene they are more than happy to pay for these services as they don't know how to do it themselves. Logo and website design is a good way to make cash quick and easy, all you need is the graphic design skills and possibly coding skills (not always). Since this is technical market and it requires a lot of skill and patience, people will not think twice about paying $500 for a 10 page website. Here are a few little means and ways you can earn money quick online, but they are hundreds of ways you can do this, here are a few more examples; PPC Advertising Taking online surveys Content writing Optomizing websites Designing and coding websites etc I am not an expert but I hope my input helped a little bit. Good luck with your $20/day mark.
With a good site in a relatively OK paying niche (not a myspace layout site or pharmacy keywords). Then just get enough traffic. Traffic = Income. More traffic = Higher Income
If you look at the quote he wasn't talking to you ukfreelancer. Don't worry dude, keep trying different techniques you'll get there .
You can make $20 a day easily selling graphic design services, forum posting, article writing, list could go on really long.
Buddy, I am in the same Sh*t as you but I guess the most easiest you could start off with is setting up proxies (like I did) - from then on I guess you can try the other avenues mentioned by fellow DP'ers. I too am still climbling the slope. Hopefully we'll both reach the top soon Another piece of advice - target an income more then $20 that way if you struggle and you don't achive that target you'll at least reach that $20 and be satisfied with it.
Hey, best thing is to start a blog on a subject you know a lot about. itll take time but as you start posting *UNIQUE* useful content you will gather a lot of readers and subscribers. note i said UNIQUE content. copied content aint gonna do you any good. as your site gets business then start to monitize it will affiliate ads or adsense. overtime you should start to hit your goal and make even more as time goes by
Ok. Thanks for all the info. Heres what I've come up with. Its a site to sell, buy and share PSD templates. It will be expanding soon, to cover everything from domains to advertising hosting. I will be getting adsense on there asap. Heres the URL: http://psdtemplatesale.com/index.php Does everyone think it has the potential?
Easiest way is this. Register a few domain names in the UK with co.uk extensions Try and get them each on a different host. Use a few online site builders and join somewhere like OMG or an another affilate place. Optomise the site and make it funny
www.bradfordslappers.com You could combine nights out with a porn website............... Traffic would be good since most of Bradford would have a look to see if their wifes or girlfriends had been unfaithful
The problem with freelancing is that you only make money for the articles you write. You don't get any kind of residual income. If you enjoy writing, consider (as others have mentioned) writing for yourself. Choose a topic you're passionate about (or could at least see yourself writing about for months and years to come--part time is fine!), build a site, and run Adsense on it. (There are lots of other ways to monetize sites, too, but Adsense is great for getting started.) I'd recommend doing an information-based site over a template site. Also, the webmaster crowd isn't the easiest to make money from (we're pretty web savvy and know to avoid ads, hah).
But your so easy to reel in Yeh thats a good point. I cant adsense though, they keep denying me, and when I ask why, they say "We cant tell you". So childish, I only want to display their ads. Whats a good alternative?
