Check how many Google Subscribers you got !!

    There now is a way to check how many of your RSS readers are Google Subscribers !!

    It is good to know how many of your RSS readers are Subscribing through Google.

    You could always do this through Feedburner couldn't you?

    Yeah I don't see the big deal. It's just been on Problogger but we could always do it with Feedburner.

    I think one of the differences is this is showing how many are subscribed to your blogs real feed...not the one that you redirect to feedburner. So this would let people that don't want to use feedburner get some kind of idea how many people are subscribed (through Google's products)

    For example, one of my blogs is www.beagooddad.com. It shows the number of people subscribed through Google products to www.beagooddad.com/feed and www.beagooddad.com/atom.

    And I know those are getting redirected to the main feedburner feed that I use.

    I would imagine at some point they might start reporting the feedburner stats in this section.

    I don't think it is a big deal since it only shows the people subscribed using Google products, but one thing it would allow is for people to get those kind of feed stats without needing to subscribe to Feedburner and then redirect to the feedburner feed.

    It was probably just somebody's 20% of their week special project. I don't see it being a big deal either.
