Where Should I start From ??

I was thinking of developing a site / forum

Can anyone suggest me which one will be the best to start with ...

Any idea ... suggestions

I am wondering what to do ...

that get excellent traffic daily .... great hits daily and also generates revenues in bulk daily ....

ye u can start with a blog 1st & also forum is a good concept
but the subject of the forum or blog should be interesting

 

Everybody like excellent traffic,then make $$$ from ADS.

But firstly you need a good topic,or a great idea.Then you need good mods to operate your site.

It also take time to let visitors meet your site and love it.

 

If i start with a blog and a forum ( in seperate subdomains )
IS 1 GB space and 40 GB B/w enough to start with ...

 

Should be enough.

Let me ask you a question- What do you like the best ? Music, sports, celebrities ??? There are lot of niches to write about......

And what kind of budget do you have ??????

 

Actually i have the host ( space and b/w ) but i need to buy a domain ...

do what you think is fun. Offer any thing FREE or perhaps write content that is useful to others. You will make money.

 

wordpress is great you must use that script only and for starting off blogging is th best thing you can do later implement a forum into your blog according to the topic of your blog

Start with a blog and as it gets busier, then start to progress with other things. dont try and start off with a forum because they aint as easy as they first might seem. getting people to sign up and use the forum is the problem, so thats somehting you should introduce at later stage.

it would be easy for u with a blog, forum would take lot of time , money and efforts, its very hard to manage a forum at initial stages.

 

That's true you should start a blog, starting a forum is a very long term business plan. If you need the money fast, then forget starting a forum.

The index page should show to register ... or login however if the particular blog link is available the person can see it

 

First off choose a niche.

Then choose a domain name that has keywords of your niche.

Then get a host for your forum, most hosts have forum software pre-installed.

And advertise.
