Hey, I would just like see if some of the more experienced webmasters on here would like to share any information they could with those that are just starting out. For example, mention how long it took to get your revenue, and if you can, what kind of techniques you use for it. For me for example, it took a couple months. I started earning with proxies at first. The biggest concern for anyone in the proxy business, i guess, would be traffic, so i worked hard on that aspect, and the more people i got, the more money i got. This pretty much applies to all sites, but there are some things that are done different for sites that need to be updated more.

Most of those posts aren't what this thread is about...I didn't ask how much a person makes, and I frankly don't care. I think what everyone wants to know is how they do it. What type of work they put into their site. And if people want to show it, what their niche is.
Most succesful webmasters don't discuss their niches, income levels, and how they did it. Write unique content+good niche+seo+social bookmarking= traffic. Create good adsense placement and you'll make money.
the biggest advice i'd give is dont rely on one type of site and dont spend too long on one site. you need to have a lot of sites constantly in development and if one isn't making much then move onto the next one. automation is also very important, learn a good scripting language and find out how you can automate as much of the site building process as possible.
I don't think your going to get any answers, and I don't think the answers will do you any good either.
but they don't talk about how they did it. Yeah that's a good one. My sites are more on the automated side (especially my blogs) but that's pretty much how it goes. Why do you say that? (the second part) and I think there were some answers already. Maybe instead of critisizing this thread, you should critisize somethign else, and stop going off topic? That would help, don't you think?
I was making about $1,000 after 4 months - i outlined everything i did in my Free eBook in my blog.. and when i say free, i mean FREE - and no, you dont even have to give an email address or click thru a bunch of popup ads...
