    I posted in this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=471647

I said that the site he is selling is widely considered a scam in the MMORPG market, he charges $15 for a 3 sentenced text document which has never worked, people complain and try to get their money back, he banks the money and doesn't reply to their complaints. World of Warcraft gold is worth tens of millions of dollars every year, there's no dupe, especially no dupe being sold for $15. I also explained that the 'proof' he made was fabricated on emulated servers (not official Blizzard ones but player run, illegal servers), of course, he failed to mention that in his auction and further lied to DP members.

I also posted a link to google after typing in 'wowdupezone', a link to the second search result which showed a forum complaining about the site, backing up exactly what I was saying.

Lastly, I posted a little disclaimer, saying how I know DP quite rightly moderate this and make sure that noone gets unfairly bashed, I asked that if the posts gets edited, to please leave the google link. Minutes after posting I was thanked by a member who was about to fall into the trap.

I checked today and I got an infraction, my post gets deleted and his scam is now selling for $850. Where's the justice?

I understand DP needs to keep people from bashing those proxy and game site clones, but this is a scam. He is a scam artist. He's taking peoples money and not delivering on what he promised. Whoever purchases this site will have their Paypal account limited, and 100% of their customers will complain as the text document was written 3 years ago and has never worked.

Why doesn't DigitalPoint want to protect their members? Instead I get an infraction. This is bullshit. By the way, before this posts get deleted and I get another infraction, I'm not bitching about getting an infraction, I'm bitching about my post getting deleted, and DP's total lack of protecting their members.

DP does not interfere with transaction made on DP.
If you are unsatisfied with your transaction leave a negative itrader.
The members involved in the transaction will not be banned for bad transactions.

    simple as that.

I wasn't asking for him to be banned, I wasn't asking for the thread to be closed, I was simply giving potential bidders true information which the thread starter lied about. My post gets deleted because of that? DP did interfere by removing my post and not allowing people access to the truth.

Because thats called harassment, there are also infractions for that.
You can not go around calling people scammers whether its the truth or not.

No, I wasn't given an infraction for harassment, it was for:

    - Inappropriate post/thread - Although we are quite liberal, certain threads and posts are simply inappropriate. Examples of inappropriate posts would be porn and blatant vulgarity.

If my post was inappropriate for giving people the truth, and answering people's questions, then DP simply isn't protecting their members. Blatant vulgarity? I even apologised to the auction starter and sorry to DP if they needed to edit my post.

(to reiterate, I'm not bitching about the infraction but about my post being deleted and DP being happy to sit back and allow people to be lied to, deleting any posts which have the truth)

I didn't call him a scammer, I picked my words carefully in the post. I said that what he was selling was widely considered as scam in the MMORPG market. Are you now telling me that I'm not allowed to post links to the google results of the site?

If a buyer googles the site, finds out that people have been saying that it's a scam on a forum, that buyer will be infracted and will have the post deleted if he asks the OP why people are saying it's a scam?

If the buyer does find that its a scam he/she should simply not get involved with the sale, as for the thread you could just say "I am not interested anymore, too many bad google results on this".

Now do you see my point when I say 'DigitalPoint aren't protecting their members'? You're saying that if the buyer finds out it's a scam, they shouldn't tell anyone. Nice one!
